The Dishwasher is responsible for the washing and sanitation of all flatware, glassware, and china being brought back to the dish pit, for maintaining the dishwashing area to meet department of health standards, removing trash, and keeping all exterior trash areas clean.
This person will be working closely with the Sous Chefs, kitchen manager and line cooks and all front of house employees to ensure all dishes are properly washed, sanitized, and returned to service.
Responsibilities
Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe at all times
Assists in control of inventory and supplies, by not breaking dishes and handing
everything properly
Reading and following department of health standards and food industry standards
Perform all other duties as required, including prep work or additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
Stable work history
Detail oriented and able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Follows instructions thoroughly
Communicates well with others and is a great team player
Must have night / weekend availability
Must be able to stand for duration of shifts

The Host position is the first impression our guests receive of our brand and are the beginning of providing exceptional guest experiences.
The host is the designated point person for seating each section appropriately, managing reservations, and setting appropriate expectations of the guest.
The Host is accountable for keeping the host area clean and organized, and providing warm, excellent experiences for our guests as they enter and exit our venue.
Responsibilities
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client
Coordination of seating and dining room flow
Answering calls and questions that guests may have on their upcoming reservations
Aware and attentive to guests and their special occasions, food restrictions and special accommodations

Bartender
Mission
Our elevated dining concept is for an experienced Bartender who is familiar with a wide variety of craft cocktails and is capable of delivering excellent customer service.
The Bartender will be responsible for keeping the drinks flowing, the guests satisfied and the business running smoothly.
In order to do this the Bartending will serve patrons at the bar while fulfilling drink orders for the dining room, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar, and maintaining alcohol and beverage control and proper inventory levels.
Bartender reports to Toca Madera GM, as well as all other management staff, working closely to Toca Madera bar manager regarding Toca Madera Bar & Beverage Operations / Functions.
Employee can go directly to bar Manager regarding any issues, operational idea’s & concerns however reports directly to all Toca Madera management and GM.

Day to Day
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed
Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum
Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times
Day to Day
Responsibility of liquor room; Cleanliness and organization
Assisting staff in constant growth and learning by The Madera Group’s standards
Assisting in continuous growth of knowledge and hospitality for all bar staff
Trainings for any new hires
Liaison between Bar and servers, bussers and runners
Correspond any 86’d items to management as well as any other issues
Cleanliness and organization of bar
Make sure that opening and closing duties are being completed and standards are always met
Communicates menu changes, specialty menus, Being aware of new bar items or cocktails
Ensure brand standards are maintained
Ensure correct product is being used as specified by Beverage Director and on menu
Relay any changes on menu to management and staff
Proper back bar and well placement of spirits
Oversee preparation of cocktails, making sure the right measurements and ingredients are being used.
Cleanliness of all wells and organization
Making sure that all items prepared properly by prep
Help push staff incentive programs

Servers are the direct link between the company and the guests and a key driver for creating exceptional guest experiences.
Servers are responsible for all aspects of the guest experience including representing the brand, explaining food and beverage offerings, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring that all of our guests, not just those in their assigned section, have everything they need for an exceptional experience.
Servers must go above and beyond for each guest as well as take on the responsibility of ensuring all items are billed appropriately and payment is properly secured and handled.
