S. Sunbelt, Latin America and the Caribbean through 110 locations in 20 states and Puerto Rico, serving over 19,000 air conditioning and heating contractors.

We currently have an exciting opportunity within the South Central Region for a Pick Up Express Warehouse Associate based at our Carrollton, TX facility.

Job Summary :

The Warehouse Associate will assist in all daily warehousing activities. This position will be focused in the Pick Up Express area by exceeding customer expectations and upholding the highest levels of customer service and safety.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide daily hands-on support for the PUX department including assisting customers, other associates.
  • Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
  • Provide recommendations on process improvement and assists in implementation.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification required and clamp truck certification preferred.
  • Shipping / Receiving system experience is a must.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC a plus, but not required.
  • Extensive Customer Service Experience
  • At least 2-3 years of management experience with the understanding of basic warehouse functions
  • Warehouse experience 5 or more years
  • Experience in similar position required; ie Lead or Coordinator roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good math skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with heights up to 30 ft. and lifting up to 50 lbs.

SUMMARY

The Inventory Planner will assist in developing effective inventory strategies for Carrier Enterprise. The Inventory Planner will make projections and recommendations for sales & marketing efforts and manage inventory to maximize profitability.

This position reports directly to the Regional Inventory Manager. The ideal candidate must be able to be hands on and deliver results while working tactically & strategically in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities : Inventory Planner

  • Responsible for forecasting inventory needs of region based on assigned locations or products through seasonality of business.
  • Works closely with the factory, vendors, sales, and marketing to anticipate the needs of the business.
  • Lead strategic and tactical planning for inventory needs based on lead times, lot sizes, safety stock targets, excess, slow and damaged inventory using business intelligence data.
  • Assists Finance Department with Audits, Inventory Control & Reconciliations.
  • Ensure adequate supply of product while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing Sales demand (Forecasts)
  • Forecasts for future inventory based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory.
  • Review stock to sales ratios and respond to changing sales trends to ensure forecasted sales.
  • Coordinates inventory flow-through to assigned wholesale locations or Hubs.
  • Track existing product categories and help make strategic decisions on future state.

Requirements : Inventory Planner

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent. AA / BA / MS / MBA Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years in an inventory procurement, management, planning type role
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain areas such as forecasting, demand planning.
  • Distribution or Supply chain experience required, HVAC or similar trade experience preferred.

Qualifications : Inventory Planner

  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Outstanding planning and organizational skills
  • Be very proactive with a keen intuition for detecting potential issues before they arise.
  • Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results
  • Effectively manage competing demands with enthusiasm, able to self-manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
