Position Summary

As member of the marketing team, the Digital Marketing Director will oversee and maintain company websites and social media channels, manage the marketing side of the organizations CRM system, develop and implement email campaigns, optimize SEO / SEM strategies and support other marketing and communication needs (app development, etc.

This position will focus on enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads / customers.

This candidate must have a passion for the digital space with great ideas for driving businesses with digital tools.

Job Responsibilities

Guide, oversee and maintain company websites, in collaboration with other departments.

Manage the marketing side of the company’s CRM, including data management and system operations.

Create and prepare marketing emails, campaigns and automation.

Develop and implement SEO / SEM plans, as well as improve online content that will support search performance.

Manage company / product presence execution and voice on social media channels.

Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic and new optimization methods to improve customer experience.

Work with various divisions and business groups to define digital projects, including objectives and requirements, resource allocation, content development, etc.

Ensure timely execution and production of key deliverables (including presentations, support materials).

Translate complex subject matter into easier-to-digest content, while reinforcing key features and benefits of the products.

Manage and mentor a team of talented digital marketing experts across UX design, social and technical coding.

Continually broaden knowledge base regarding company science, company culture, business, industry and trends.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science / Arts degree from an accredited university or college in marketing, communications or medical / science.

7-10 years of work experience in the field of digital marketing / communications, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing websites and marketing automation.

Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful websites and digital marketing campaigns.

Experience with inbound marketing and software used for this process

In-depth understanding of web development wireframes, writing for web, HTML, etc.

Strong HTML editing and content management system experience

Must possess knowledge of Pardot, Salesforce CRM and Word Press.

Exemplary planning and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Ability to think creatively and initiate new ideas or solutions to business issues.

Must be able to work across levels in the organization to drive projects to completion.

Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-past, competing deadline driven environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business use.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences preferred.
