Our client is now hiring an experienced Account Manager.The primary responsibility is to maximize the sales of our services in NYC area to existing clients and new customers and prospects.

These services include : Document Storage , Electronic Document Management Solutions, Data Storage, Pathology Storage and Shredding .

Other key responsibilities include :

  • Manage and upselling to assigned client base
  • Lead generation and prospecting activities to maintain required pipeline of prospect accounts
  • Qualify, research, track and develop leads into viable opportunities
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition to multiple organizational levels
  • Develop strong business cases, proposals and presentations for sales opportunities
  • Negotiate the terms of agreements and close sales

  • Effectively follow KPI goals and objectives, track progress versus goals, and make adjustments if behind on goals.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 1+ years of sales experience, B2B sales, consultative selling and solution selling experiences are pluses
  • Previous successful phone selling skills preferred
  • High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • General knowledge of the construction process and site services is a plus.

Technical skills will include, but not limited to : automatic suppression system design; fire detection, alarm and communication system design;

code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant construction analysis; smoke control analysis; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.

This Role You Will :

  • Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new fire protection systems including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm and mass notification systems.
  • Perform building and fire code analysis and interpretation.
  • Manage effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Lead and manage internal team to provide well-coordinated and high-quality design sets.
  • Manage profitability of projects and maintain working relationship with clients.
  • Perform research and documentation for internal and external distribution.
  • Attend and participate in local and national trade organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA.
  • Conduct business development activities and foster long term client relationships and create new ones.

Qualifications
