Broward Health Imperial Point in Ft. Lauderdale is a 204-bed hospital dedicated to providing advanced, high-quality healthcare services to the community.

With a focus on personalized care, the hospital offers many specialties, including bariatrics services, a behavioral health unit, advanced cardiac care, including interventional cardiology and heart failure treatments, primary stroke care, senior care, total joint procedures, urology care, wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and robotic surgery.

Full-Time Eligible Position. Varied shifts; with weekend requirements.

High school graduation or equivalent. 1-2 years previous hospital security experience. Requires a Valid Drivers License.

Maintains requirements for possession of a valid Florida Drivers License. Must possess applicable licensing to perform the duties of a security officer within the state of Florida or be able to obtain within six months of employment if other qualification met in another state.

Must maintain a Class G Fire Arm license, if required for position. MMPI- Psychological testing, if armed or otherwise required.

Physical exam, if armed or required by client contract. Must have good oral, written communications, interpersonal and analytical skills sufficient to document investigate activities.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Reporting directly to the Security Shift Sergeant, the uniformed Security Officer provides for safe, secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Supports and enforces policies and procedures for physical protection of property, building(s) and assets of facility.
