SUMMARY
Drives morning / afternoon route for Organization Programs.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Transports children in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safely secure children in wheelchairs during loading / unloading process.
- Keeps interior of bus neat, clean and free of debris.
- Reports interior repairs (seat belts, car seats, etc.) to Lead Driver.
- Attends to children as needed in emergency situations.
- Follows emergency procedures.
- Uses cellular phone for parental / emergency procedures only.
- Stays inside bus does not exit bus to take or bring children to the front door of their residence.
- If child becomes ill (seizures, vomits) driver will pull to side of road. If incident requires medical attention call 911 on cellular phone.
- In the event the vehicle becomes disabled call Director / Lead Driver on cellular phone for instructions.
- In the event of an accident call 911 and notify the Director / Lead Driver / School Administration for instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Florida Driver's License (CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement)
CPR / First Aid Certifications
Annual DOT Physical
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
