JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to serve as the key resource for American Church Group agency partners in the

development and execution of marketing strategies in alignment with corporate marketing, brand, sales,

and customer retention goals.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with ACG partners and marketing team members to develop and execute joint marketing

strategies.

Coordinate the execution of individual marketing plans and activities for ACG and custom agencies,

including MRC campaigns, social media, digital marketing, and direct mail.

Analyze ACG marketing program results and adjust strategy and tactics to maximize effectiveness of

future marketing activities, including post-event reporting and evaluation on ACG marketing programs.

Work with the Sr. ACG Agency Marketing Specialist to implement lead generation activities related to

marketing projects.

Contribute to overall branding efforts by leading the execution, timing, and follow-up of marketing

strategies among or on behalf of agencies.

Communicate agency marketing strategies and tactics to internal departments, working cross-functionally

with internal departments to ensure projects align with the company’s business objectives.

Follow established guidelines for the use of Brotherhood Mutual’s trademarks, logos, and other

intellectual property and communicates those guidelines to agents and employees.

  • Identify industry trends, best practices, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Exhibit at trade shows and special events to promote brand recognition and help develop leads.
  • Ensure marketing activities for ACG and custom agencies are implemented on time and according to

plan, providing accurate and timely reports on marketing campaign effectiveness.

Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Education and / or Experience

Must have a BA or BS in any major relevant to marketing communications effectiveness (includes

Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Telecommunications).

  • Must have one to three years of marketing experience.
  • Three to five years of marketing experience is desired.
  • Insurance education-AINS is desired.
  • Accreditation with IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) or PRSA (Public

Relations Society of America) is desired.

Job Title : Marketing Lead Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing all inbound leads; researching, analyzing, processing, filtering, and distributing potential target prospects to the appropriate channels.

Build a pipeline of qualified leads by listening, connecting, and engaging with prospects. Work in a highly collaborative environment with Information Marketing, Client Services, Communications, and Sales staff to consistently maintain and record lead generation for the company.

  • Assist in building, updating and maintaining a CRM database using multiple systems and resources.
  • Manage, process, and respond to quote requests that come to Brotherhood Mutual through Web, inbound calls, mail campaigns, surveys, magazine ads and printed materials, convention marketing, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Build relationships and cultivate trust with prospects through oral and written communication, laying the ground work for future product sales.
  • Remain current on underwriting guidelines in order to effectively target valid prospects for the Marketing Department.
  • Use discernment in qualifying inbound leads and processing unique ministry requests.
  • Gather missing information from prospective customers through gracious conversation, with sensitivity to insurance needs, explaining restrictions when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively and works collaboratively with other department to supply required data, resolve complicated data issues, support effective marketing efforts and continually improve department procedures.
  • Maintain discretion with confidential or sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with management to improve and implement inbound lead process changes.
  • Participate in continuing education annually, including occasional travel for training and educational requirements as needed.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

  • Two or more years' experience in data processing, insurance, customer service, sales, marketing, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is desired.
  • Any form of insurance industry or computer education is desired
  • Two or more years work experience in at least two of the following : data processing, insurance, customer service, sales, marketing, or a related field is desired.
