We are seeking an accomplished Inside Sales Manager to lead an Inside Sales team to meet revenue targets. The ISM will lead the hiring, development, and management of the team members to implement growth strategies and initiatives.

The ISM is also responsible for ensuring consistent profitable sales growth by not only driving the topline revenue growth but also by managing expenses and costs.

The ISM is the fundamental link between strategy and execution within the sales team. In addition, the role requires the development of collaborative and results-orientated relationships with external distribution partner sales professionals, Outside Sales, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Clinical Education and Medical Liaison, IDN’s, and the broader management team.

What you’ll tackle in this role :

  • Responsible for driving the sales strategy and revenue across assigned geography.
  • Build and aggressively execute a plan for achieving sales revenue and operating budget for Aerogen.
  • Leverage all provided tools to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage a team by establishing and executing individual MBOs aligned with Corporate and Management objectives.
  • Create, coach, and mentor to achieve development plans for the team.
  • Conduct chair side workdays, cadence calls, and individual territory business reviews to ensure plan achievement.
  • Drive, manage, and support sales growth within the distributor, outside, and corporate accounts segments.
  • Support marketing and clinical launch of new products, executing according to global marketing guidelines, in combination with objectives.
  • Build campaigns to qualify and validate marketing-generated leads to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Acquire and develop value-based and strategic selling skills and the ability to develop the team in these areas.
  • Create Tele-sales scripts and sales processes to drive revenue.
  • Efficiently utilize Pulse to educate, communicate and collaborate with adjacent business teams.
  • Identify, manage, and develop key customer relationships to aid in deal creativity to drive sales results.
  • Act as an influential leader within the sales leadership team.
  • Any other duties as outlined by the manager

Skills and experiences that we seek :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (required)
  • 3+ years of relevant medical device sales experience
  • 1+ years managing and leading a team of 5+ inside sales reps
  • 1+ of previous Tele-sales experience
  • Experience working with distributors preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently overperforming and exceeding targets
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Maintain established customer service business hours with additional hours and weekends as warranted, required travel, or business demands
  • Proficiency in the use of desktop software applications, such as MS office, and CRM
  • High energy, self-driven, and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong territory management skills and proven ability to drive multiple opportunities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage a complex sales process that has clinical and financial customers
  • Demonstrate a high degree of influencing skills
