JOB SUMMARY

Our Breakfast Attendants ensure that our guests start their morning off right with a great breakfast and genuine service.

As Breakfast Attendant, you are responsible for setup, take-down, sanitation and restocking of the breakfast area and kitchen.

You will also greet guests and keep the breakfast buffet neat and clean throughout your shift. Our breakfast attendants are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure our guests have the best experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring breakfast is prepared in accordance to food handling regulations, guidelines and brand standards.
  • Ensure food is prepped and ready for the beginning of breakfast and replenished throughout breakfast hours.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and a smile and ensure you are walking around the breakfast area engaging them;

replenish coffee and provide a memorable guest experience.

  • Maintain inventory of all food supply and assist with the completion of food orders as necessary.
  • Assist in necessary setup, service and breakdown of breakfast and meeting room functions.
  • Inspect the kitchen, prep area, and dining space for cleanliness, working condition and proper furniture / equipment set-up.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely, efficient, appropriate and friendly manner.
  • Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of food service regulations.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.
  • Able to easily and quickly lift and carry heavy trays.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance to the brand standards.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Director of Market Sales to lead the sales efforts at Staybridge Suites Denver North - Thornton .

They will use their warm and professional personality to develop and build long term relationships with our key clients.

A Director of Market Sales is an expert in negotiating and delivering win-win deals for the hotel and the client, as well as leading the team to deliver on those expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager.
  • Solicit new and existing business accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals predominately through outside sales calls, relationships, telephone solicitation, site tours and written communication / collateral.
  • Develop / maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.
  • Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
  • Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
  • Finalize all books / contracts in a timely manner servicing guests through the process.
  • Participate in revenue management call, assist with hotel budget planning and forecasting.
  • Pursue new clients through creative / innovative sales techniques.
  • Qualify clients, develop proposals, and prepare contracts.
  • Ensure effective utilization of selling guidelines to maximize revenue contribution from all segments.
  • Initiate and implement sales promotional programs with travel partners.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
  • Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
  • Train front desk staff and other applicable staff members on sales call process.
  • Conduct on-site tours.
  • Follow-up on group business (pending, tentative and booked) to ensure client satisfaction and materialization at hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of sales process, client base, and general market knowledge.
  • Ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals and hotel guests.
  • Knowledge of revenue management and ability to successfully forecast business on both short-term and long-term basis.
  • Able to develop and maintain rapport with key community contacts to ensure a visible presence in the community.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information in the sales field and make logical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Possess proficient computer skills including knowledge of MS Office products, knowledge of brand operating systems preferred.
