Bond-Pro is a 25 year old software company focused on the niche insurance market of Surety Bonds. We have multiple enterprise products and are seeking a new member of the team to join us on our customer facing data team.

This key role in our Services Organization will focus on primarily on 3 things :

  • Enterprise Application Configuration ETL Tools : maintaining and expanding our tools that help clients document and load configuration information into our enterprise applications.
  • Critical Skills : Excel, VB Macros, Attention to Detail
  • Helpful Skills : Microsoft based ETL approaches : Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), and Excel / Power Query.
  • Reporting and BI : support client facing application reports (creation of new and adjust existing) as well as serve as a go to SME for clients connecting their BI tools to reporting databases within our applications.
  • Critical Skills : Prior report building experience, attention to detail

  • Data Migration : support Client activities and decision-making involving population of staging tables, as well as their test data migration runs and troubleshooting.
  • Critical Skills :
  • Prior experience with data migration / conversation projects.
  • Experience creating and populating staging tables and working with ETL frameworks and logic.
  • Helpful Skills :
  • Microsoft ETL based ETL approaches : Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), and Excel / Power Query.

We are seeking a highly detailed, motivated analyst in this role who enjoys data management, understanding data origins and destinations and is comfortable being client facing with the team.

This position requires operating on US Eastern Time Zone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 6+ years of industry technical experience as outlined above.
  • Outstanding Excel skills including ability to write complex VB based macros in Excel.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), and Excel / Power Query.
  • Ability to apply DevOps principles to data pipelines to improve the communication, integration, reuse, and automation of data flows between data managers and consumers across an organization.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
