General Description
BCT is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support the manufacturing support team with processing, updating, and completing work orders and providing information to evaluate the manufacturing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update current work orders in the ERP system. Communicate to the manufacturing group any changes and track down and correct shop packets and related parts if needed.
- Complete shop work orders in the ERP system and correct any issuing discrepancies.
- Provide information through Excel spreadsheets to evaluate and quantify shop processes related to utilization, efficiencies, and rework.
- Assist the Master Scheduler in processing work orders in ERP system and other tasks as needed.

When in the shop the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the shop is sometimes loud enough to require hearing protection.

Mechanical Field Service Technician
Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (BCT) has a full-time Mechanical Field Service Technician position, with an employee residing within a 250-mile radius of Philadelphia, PA .
The main territory for this role will be in the Mid-Atlantic or East Coast of the United States and additional travel throughout the country when needed.

General Description
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Field Service Technician will provide mechanical and technical service to customers regarding inspections, maintenance, service, repairs, rebuilds, and upgrades to all types of blast equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Installation and start-up of new equipment.
2. Rebuilding, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading all types of blast equipment.
3. Ability to travel 80+% of the week, mostly driving, including overnights.
4. Ability to work extremely flexible hours and weekends as required.
5. Lending mechanical and technical expertise to our customer base.
6. Providing inspections and follow-up reports.
7. Responsible for expense management and service revenues.
8. Complete all documentation in a timely manner as required.
9. Support Sales staff.
10. Troubleshoot system and equipment issues.
11. Act as a resource for new product offerings.
12. Provide training to customer on equipment.
13. Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core Values
Qualifications

- Proficient computer skills

- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Education and / or Experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent. 1-2 years mechanical experience.

- 3 or more moving violations in the last 3 years. This includes :
- Speeding less than 20 mph above the speed limit
- Operating while registration is suspended
- Failure to yield right-of-way
- Careless or inattentive driving (including texting or cell phone use)
- Running a red light or stop sign
- Improper or excessive lane changes
- 2 or more moving violations and / or at-fault accidents in the last year.

General Description
Under the direction of the Assembly Manager, the Assembler will assemble fabricated and machined components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Very Strong Mechanical ability to assemble fabricated and machined components
- Ability to perform small to large machinery assembly
- Experience repairing heavy industrial equipment preferred
- Determine proper tools and machinery required to complete the production schedule
- Follow fabrication schedules
- Complete final inspection of all parts to meet quality standards
- Complete required monthly safety training
- Complete required pm's on department machinery
- Support both internal and external customer
- Provide support and backup as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
- Ability to weld preferred, but not required
Work Experience Requirements
- Must have a minimum of two years overhead crane experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- 3+ years of post-machining and fabrication inspection
- Experience with industrial heavy machine assembly
- Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Problem Solving skills, the ability to make decisions and follow-through
- Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.
Preferred Requirements :
1-2 years of MIG welding experience or equivalent preferred.
