Dispatcher (FT)

Bill Howe is currently hiring for a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities :
- Schedule and coordinate all service call as they are received.
- Dispatch service technicians.
- Debrief service technicians after completion of each call, when applicable.
- Maintain dispatch board / technicians schedule.
- Contact customers with a "Parts pending" status as parts are received for scheduling.
- Follow up on all estimates.
- Follow up with customer for scheduling "go with estimates."
- Answer phones if call volume exceeds customer service capacity.
- Ability to understand technician skill set and ability to dynamically dispatch.
- Proficient in San Diego zip codes
- Handle changes in policies.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years Plumbing / HVAC / Restoration dispatching experience required
- Call center experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills required
- Ability to effectively communicate via email, phone calls, and text with customers, technicians and management.
- Ability to type 45+ words per minute
- Bilingual preferred

Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel and / or objects. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Ability to travel within the facility.
Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Environmental Conditions :
Usual office setting.
