At Big-D Construction we Think Big, Work Big, Live Big. Big-D Construction is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our team in North Salt Lake City, UT.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- Requires High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years’ experience with construction equipment, customer service, basic computer skills, and construction services.
- Must have valid driver's license, DOT medical card or ability to get one within 30 days of employment. Summary :
- Deliver consumables, and / or equipment when necessary with company truck or truck trailer combination
- Responsible to keep assigned rental equipment in peak condition. Servicing all items after each use. This includes cleaning, checking for all safety apparatuses, fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, grease zerks, coolant, air filter, checking for all required attachments, and proper operation.
- A critical requirement will be to create relationships with multiple jobsite personnel.
- Load / Unload equipment safely into vehicles and on / off trailers.
- Keep workspace organized, clean, and safe.
- Complete daily reports and weekly summaries for supervisor to communicate information, address issues and concerns, and satisfy customer needs.
- Attend business unit meetings as required.
- Use provided computer software to check out / in all rental assets.
- Provide professional and relative feedback for improvement of layout, equipment needs, and increased productivity and efficiency.
