The Van Driver is responsible for providing transportation for community residents. This position assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing all activities requiring van transportation as appropriate.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains vehicles in accordance with warranty requirements and / or internal maintenance plan to ensure safe, working order
  • Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families
  • Transports residents to and from medical appointments, outings and shopping trips.
  • Acts as an Activity Assistant when on excursions; stays with group at all times except for when parking the van
  • Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.

Benchmark seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual to join its expanding Project Management team as Project Manager (PM).

This individual will help to oversee the conception, implementation, and analysis of critical internal projects. The PM will drive projects through the full project cycle, managing multi-disciplinary teams across the Benchmark organization.

This role is hybird, working two days in the Corporate Office and three days remote.

The PM understands multiple project management methodologies, industry best practices, and when to apply them appropriately.

The PM can deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations and move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant details .

The PM will apply problem solving and leadership skills to a range of activities and facilitate and manage projects from planning to project delivery.

This position requires strong relationship-building skills and a comfort working with all levels in an organization. In addition, strong analytical skills and a proven track record of consistent project completions are a must.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and help implement complex projects which change or enhance business strategy, processes, and systems
  • Manage the delivery of multiple enterprise-wide projects within the scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project progress, scope, timelines, and costs to ensure the project team adheres to the project goals and requirements
  • Support other project-related processes from requirements definition through deployment
  • Keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle and escalate / problem-solve risks and issues as necessary
  • Maintain project dashboards and project artifacts in Smartsheet
  • Lead project team meetings including review of project dashboards, action plans, and progress towards meetings project milestones

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability to execute and drive projects to completion
  • Expert ability to lead collaborative teams for larger projects across functional areas
  • Strong proficiency with project management practices, tools, and methodologies and when to apply them
  • Experience with using project management software to manage complex project timelines and resources
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with personnel of all levels and facilitate project decisions
  • Strong proficiency with IT-related projects and a full understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience with leading an implementation with a 3rd party vendor
  • Experience with implementing enterprise-wide systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and / or Health Resources Information System (HRIS) preferred

Job Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Education High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred

Have a demonstrated interest in the elderly and are knowledgeable of servicing their

needs.

Must have demonstrated activities / recreational experience.

Possess excellent communication skills.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Description

Adelaide of Newton Centre is looking for a cook passionate to working with residents in our Mind and Memory community. We are located near Newton Centre with plenty of free parking and a short walk from the green t-stop.

The Cook prepares food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations with established Benchmark policies and procedures.

The Food Services Director will direct these duties to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews menus prior to preparation of food
  • Performs administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, etc.
  • Assures all dietary procedures are followed
  • Must be able to operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Equipment may include : meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets.
  • Organizes walk-in freezer, storeroom, kitchen tables, and counters
  • Assists in establishing food production line to assure meals are prepared on time
  • Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families
  • Prepares and serves nutritious meal and ensures high quality presentation and flavorful meals for our residents.
