IT Director - Finance

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT Director with expertise in the Finance area to lead and oversee the IT operations and systems within our organization.

As the IT Director, Finance, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure and applications that support finance operations, including SAP and other financial systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other business units, to align IT strategies with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic direction and guidance to the IT team and business partners, focusing on the Finance area, to drive IT excellence and support overall business objectives.
  • Finance Applications Management : Oversee and manage the IT landscape that supports finance operations, including ERP and supporting applications ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Financial Systems Optimization : Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financialsystems, including SAP and other related applications, to ensure efficient and effective financial processes and reporting.
  • IT Governance and Compliance : Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies within the finance area.
  • Vendor Management : Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring effective delivery of IT services and support within the finance domain.
  • IT Project Management : Lead and oversee IT projects within the finance area, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Billing and Invoicing : Ensure the smooth operationof billing and invoicing processes within SAP S / 4, including invoice creation, revenue recognition, taxation, and document management.
  • Credit and Collections : Collaborate with finance and credit management teams to implement credit management strategies, automate credit decision processes, and optimize collections activities within SAP S / 4.
  • Data Security and Privacy : Implement and maintain robust data security and privacy measures within finance systems, including access controls, encryption, backup, and disaster recovery plans and SOX compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance executives, business leaders, and other IT teams, to understand their requirements, address their concerns, and build strong relationships to enable successful IT implementations and ongoing support in the finance area.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute comprehensive testing and quality assurance plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of SAP S / 4 implementation for finance, including system performance, data integrity, and end-to-end process testing.
  • Change Management : Help develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the smooth transition from legacy ERP systems to SAP S / 4, including training programs, communication plans, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Team Development : Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in IT management roles, with a strong focus on technology solutions for the Finance area and leading SAP S / 4 implementations from legacy ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, financial systems, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing SAP FICO and other financial systems, including experience with SAP S / 4, Record-to-Report (R2R), Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and Central Finance (CFin) modules.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading SAP S / 4 implementations, including project planning, data migration, system configuration, and user training.
  • Knowledge of IT cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies relevant to finance.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards, such as ITIL, COBIT, and relevant regulations (e.g., data privacy laws).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control IT initiatives within budget and timeline.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high-performance goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results within deadlines.

DISTRIBUTOR MARKETING MANAGER

Job Summary :

This position will oversee all Distributor Marketing Programs within the Americas, with responsibility to develop, execute, maintain, and monitor associated activities.

The Distributor Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and executing programs to increase brand awareness and generate demand for Belden's full solution of products with our Distributor partners and their customers.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead cross-functional teams made up of Sales, Marketing, Finance, and others to successfully execute all programs

You will make a difference in the following ways :

Collaborate with Channel Managers to execute marketing campaigns, develop sales enablement tools, and grow business with key partners.

Engage with marketing contacts at partners to develop messaging, marketing collateral, and programs unique to each partner's needs.

Conduct on-site visits to partners as needed to understand their business needs.

  • Manage partner co-op program and budget. Define co-op marketing initiatives and work with Belden Channel Managers on development, implementation, and monitoring of funds to remain in budget.
  • Manage Americas Distributor Portalcontent, communication, users, and reporting through collaboration with the Customer Experience team, Partner Program team, business units, channel managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track all sales promotions and sales initiatives with specific distributors including spending, ROI analysis, and provide recommendations on what programs should be expanded and which should be eliminated or changed.
  • Assist with the continuous implementation of the Global Distributor Program, including marketing communications, collateral, content development, and sales enablement.
  • Lead the execution of our annual loyalty survey for both Customers and Distributors including planning, communication, execution, and analysis of the results.

Manage relationship with third party vendor to program and execute survey, analysis and internal champions Direct report-outs of results to senior leadership and provide actionable feedback based on responses

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
