An Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that a business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule.

Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting purchase orders to vendors.

Responsibilities :

• Work to design aircraft secondary structure, equipment installations / layouts, and route Air Vehicle harnesses using 3D modeling software.
• Close coordination with production teams and other technical groups is required in order to integrate equipment and systems into the aircraft.

Education and Experience :

• Experience creating and releasing Build-To-Print (BTP) engineering packages
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, or other STEM degree

A GE9X Flight Test Specialist position is currently available at Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and documenting detailed process descriptions for engine hardware installation and hardware changes.

In addition, the Flight Test Specialist will provide day to day technical assistance to groups of engineers, mechanics, and program coordinators from a technical perspective.

Principle Responsibilities :

• Represent GE by working with the customer, Boeing, while maintaining a professional and expeditious work environment with a primary focus on quality and safety.
• Represent GE at Boeing Flight Test related meetings.
• Provide configuration oversight for changes and specialist information regarding various configurations across the test engines.
• Maintain and assure the airworthiness of the Compliance engines throughout the Flight Test program.
• Ensure that the configuration of the flight test propulsion systems is always known
• Ensure that the logistics specialist is aware of all parts and equipment requirements.
• Identify problems with the maintenance manuals and suggest corrections where necessary.
• Review, correct and approve assigned Flight Test General Procedures (FTGPs), Flight Test Service Instructions (FTSIs), and Field Engineering Instructions (FEIs).

• Report and maintain FTSI and FTGP status via electronic log.
