Customer Service Representative
Job Overview
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting all customer segments including retail, contractor, fabricator and wholesale.
You are responsible for providing information about our products including availability, price, applications, limitations, and installation recommendations.
You are also responsible for order entry, purchase order (P / O) processing and receiving, and freight quotes.
As a customer service representative you will act as the liaison between Bedrosians and our customer. You have an energetic and enthusiastic personality and pay close attention to detail.
You uphold the highest standards of service and aim to please customers and resolve any issues with win / win solutions.
You are positive, helpful, and know how to listen and clearly communicate with your customers.
Duties
- Work cooperatively in team environment
- Greet and assist customers with selections and follow-through on their orders
- Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
- Answer phone inquiries including over the phone orders
- Assist with stock checks, pricing, freight quotes and processing orders
- Process P / O's and receivings for product lines
- Develop basic understanding of design and color
- Resolve customer service issues
- Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace
- Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives.

Please note : in some of our smaller locations, there may be a crossover of duties among Warehouse Associate, Customer Service, and / or Showroom Sales Representative positions.
These crossover duties may include but are not limited to :
- Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
- Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
- Follow proper pulling, packing, strapping, staging, unloading, shipping and receiving protocol
- Comply with all safety policies and protocols

- High School Degree or equivalent

Dispatch Coordinator/ Truck Driver Dispatcher
Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Dispatcher Coordinator I is responsible for the coordination and delegation of daily pickup and delivery assignments to our ADC Fleet drivers.
You are responsible for ensuring their timely and successful completion of pickup and delivery assignments. You are tasked with logging and maintaining a database of all driver daily hours for the Transportation Manager to review.
Duties
- Assign ADC Fleet drivers to pick up outside vendor orders
- Organize and dispatch customer deliveries through our ADC Fleet drivers
- Ensure timely and successful completion of deliveries
- Work in conjunction with ADC customer service representatives to optimize truckloads to our company branches
- Organize and process all paperwork received from ADC Fleet drivers
- Monitor ADC Fleet drivers through Rand McNally GPS to ensure they are DOT compliant and demonstrating proper driving habits
- Schedule appropriate number of drivers for the next day's work assignments
- Communicate with our Orange slab yard in regards to equipment needs
- Assist the Transportation Manager with miscellaneous tasks and duties as needed
- Promote a positive team environment within all departments and branches
- Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives.

Minimum Qualifications
- College degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or High School diploma with 5 years' of experience in logistics and transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs and strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Close attention to details and high level of accuracy
- Excellent attendance at current or previous employment

Class A Truck Driver
Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager and Dispatch Coordinator, a Class A Interstate Commercial Truck Driver is responsible for daily transportation assignments.
You are responsible for timely and successful completion of pick-up and delivery assignments and must assist loading and unloading materials as needed.

Duties
- Ability to maintain perfect attendance and punctuality
- Ensure timely and successful completion of deliveries
- Unload and load materials
- Work in conjunction with Dispatch Coordinator to ensure successful completion of deliveries
- Follow federal and company safety procedures
- Ability to comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Hours of Service (HOS) manual and / or Electronic Long Data (ELD)
- Conduct Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) per the FMCSA
- Demonstrate proper driving habits
- Maintain proper paperwork
- Organize and submit required paperwork to Dispatch Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months verified commercial driving experience
- Excellent attendance at current or previous employment
- Must pass DOT drug test
- Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report
- Must provide valid Medical Card
- Must pass basic physical test
- Must pass a Bedrosians road test
- Must provide valid Class A CDL
- Valid TWIC card
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
