BBP is hiring a Inside Sales Application Intern to join our teams. Our Internship Program allows our interns to get an understanding of the different aspects of our business including our product lines, Instruments, Valves and Sensors.
In the Internship Program, you will become an expert of products’ features, how to integrate products with customer applications and provide excellent customer service via phone and email.
The intern position will be placed in one of the following groups with the opportunity to move to other groups for any additional internships worked
- Instruments : Learn the fundamentals of our industry and how to provide customer service that builds Like and Trust.
- Sensors : Understand how to specify a product that BBP manufactures and work with sub suppliers and manufacturing to meet customer application needs and lead time.
- Valves : Dive deep on a specific product line and learn the basics of application engineering.
- Develop a working knowledge of the product’s technical features and integration with customer applications
- Interpret customer drawings and technical specifications to recommend solutions
- Develop proposals and quotes for company products
- Work in a team environment to service customers and facilitate long-term customer retention and satisfaction
- Able to work effectively in a high-volume customer interaction with technically oriented products

Marketing Intern
Job purpose
BBP is seeking a hardworking and motivated marketing and communications intern to join our fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
The purpose of this role is to support the Marketing Coordinator in the marketing and promotion of products and services to customers and prospects.
This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a regional, well-known company.
This internship requires three days per week at our office in Baton Rouge.
Duties and responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve :
- Reports to the Marketing Manager
- Assist with the design and creation of signage, email campaigns, and social media content
- Usage of Social Media Tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc)
- Assist the Marketing Coordinator in SEM and SEO efforts
- Seek and analyze competitor marketing material and digital content
- Assist in planning and staffing of trade shows and marketing events
- Provide administrative support to management when required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with superior written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite are necessary
- Experience with marketing computer software and online applications, including (but not limited to) : Adobe Creative Suite, SEMRush, SharpSpring, WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
- Dependability, flexibility, and ability to prioritize
- Openness to learning and growing within the internship experience
- Knowledge of WordPress and HTML is a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid / remote environment
Education
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related fields from a four-year accredited college or university.

Job Summary :
The Tier 2 Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a vital role in our accounting team, primarily focusing on resolving complex issues identified by our Tier 1 Accounts Receivable clerks in our business-to-business collections process.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the accounts receivable process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to business-to-business collections, as identified by Tier 1 Accounts Receivable Clerks.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and management regarding collection issues and resolutions.
- Work closely with the accounts receivable team to identify, report, and resolve any inconsistencies or discrepancies in billing and payment.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency of the accounts receivable process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection efforts.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and forecasts relating to accounts receivable for management.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and resolution in a business-to-business collections context.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

I/E Field Service Technician
Job Summary
As a strategic member of a highly collaborative organization, the field service technician will be responsible for installing equipment and investigating and solving customers’ technical problems.
In this role, the technician will spend their time going out to customer sites and working in the field.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble and test equipment
- Install new equipment at customer’s facility and ensure full functionality
- Familiar with equipment’s software
- Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Submit complete service reports for customer invoicing
- Review performance reports from customers and inspects malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problem
Qualifications and Skills
- Be located in North Carolina - Charlotte or Raleigh / Durham areas
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc.
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this job : stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, move up to 50 pounds, etc.
