Warehouse Associate

Accurate physical receiving, staging and counting of materials / product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and ensure delivery of materials / product to the proper department.
Key responsibilities include :
- Receives product deliveries, confirms purchase order number and any other applicable information is on all paperwork
- Maintain weight records of incoming raw materials shipments. Notifies buyer and supervisor on differences
- Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments
- Moves materials into storage units after shipment has been received
- Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns / repair
- Stages materials for production based on planned orders, pulling materials by FIFO making sure pathways are kept clear
- Move materials back to correct storage location after production returns left over materials, ensuring they are properly stored according to quality guidelines
- Physical count of raw materials and packaging
- Confirm stock of materials needed for upcoming process orders based on planner’s schedule
- Maintain and organize warehouse
- Performs other duties as assigned to by supervisor
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees
- Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state.
- Wears personal protective Equipment as necessary for the job
- Responsible for the Quality and Food Safety of our products
About you :
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to communicate appropriately with Supervisors and Co-Workers (Verbal and simple written reports are required)
- Must be able to apply supervisor’s directions
- Must be a results oriented individual, who thrives on situations involving pressure
- SAP experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
