Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a Flight Lead on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).

Responsibilities
The Flight Lead will :
- Support HSFTIC and the NASA International Space Station (ISS) Research Integration & Visiting Vehicle Offices.
- Coordinate research launch commit criteria, late load and scrub turnaround planning, and lessons learned with multiple stakeholders for cargo flights.
- Integrate research requirements with the Visiting Vehicle's cargo flight capabilities.
- Coordinate and communicate science constraints for crewed vehicle launch and return.
- Be responsible for interpretation and integration of investigation requirements and constraints.
- Author technical and engineering memos and presentations as required.
- Originate control documents, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of flight related activities.
- Provide technical research knowledge and expertise in International Space Station Program (ISSP) boards and panels.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

Required Education / Experience / Skills :
- BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited Engineering school, plus ten (10) years of appropriate work experience.
- BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited Engineering school, plus fifteen (15) years of appropriate work experience.
- Knowledge of the International Space Station (ISS) and International Space Station Program (ISSP) processes.
- Requires the use and understanding of basic engineering mathematics and principles.
- Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal).
- Proven integration, coordination and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet critical schedule requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and take initiative in completing tasks with minimal management direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Proven Leadership in a team environment.
Preferences :
International Space Station Program (ISSP) Science, Technology, and Exploration (ST&E) process knowledge / experience preferred.
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering.
- Ability to lead and support projects from the early phases of capture through integration, test, and deployment.
- ISSP Visiting Vehicle knowledge is preferred.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Logistics Supervisor

Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a Logistics Supervisor on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).
Join the dynamic team at Barrios Technology as a Supervisor of our Mission Planning and Integration (MP&I) Logistics Team.
In this role, you will lead a team of employees as they expand the boundaries of humanity through exploration focused on Low Earth Orbit (LEO), and ultimately to the Moon and beyond in support of NASA Human Spaceflight activities.
As the Logistics Supervisor, your primary role is to lead a team of highly skilled engineers who provide crew and cargo resupply integration expertise in support of NASA missions.
The team provides support to the International Space Station (ISS) Program and will extend support to the Orion, Gateway, Commercial Destinations in LEO (CLDP), Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP) programs, and more.
This team plays an integral role in ensuring the ISS continues to operate, its crew members are able to live and conduct world class research, and a robust commercial marketplace is being fostered in LEO.
LEO commercialization is a key factor in allowing NASA to focus full speed ahead on returning to the Moon, establishing a sustainable lunar presence, and preparing for future missions to Mars.

Responsibilities
The Logistics Supervisor will :
- Manage the Mission Planning & Integration (MP&I) Logistics Team who are responsible for Visiting Vehicle Cargo Integration and Manifesting.
- Establish and implement short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, and strategic plans by monitoring and evaluating programmatic, operational, and cost effectiveness.
- Analyze complex problems, interpret organizational needs, and develop integrated and innovative solutions to meet the needs of the Program while increasing efficiency with day-to-day processes.
- Conduct cross program integration activities to find best practices across all Human Spaceflight programs and implement them.
- Track and report actual costs to allocated organizational budget and provides recommendations on how to decrease cost and increase performance output.
- Provide Project Management and leadership for projects within the team.
- Provide team growth, team building, personnel management, and mentoring for the organization.
- Provide paths for career growth and mentorship for team members.
- Perform mid-year employee evaluations and yearly performance appraisals to assess employees’ execution of planned products and services.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Skills :
- BS / BA degree or higher in STEM or Management from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of professional experience, performing professional work in management, operations or systems integration.
- Progressive leadership roles and responsibilities demonstrated through experience base.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and target clear and concise message to the appropriate audience.
- Ability to resolve problems, interpret policies, and demonstrate solid knowledge of contract requirements, processes, and procedures to support both technical and administrative contract operation.
- Analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Candidate must be team oriented and effectively lead the team to success while ensuring team members are effectively utilized and career goals are managed.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment is required.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and able to easily adapt to new tool sets.
Preferences :
- Four (4) years of spaceflight operations and / or integration experience.
- International Space Station (ISS) integration experience.
- Experience working with the Mission Integration and Operations Office in support of the International Space Station.
