Receptionist Nights - Variable

The receptionist is often the first point of contact for all those seeking to obtain out services; therefore, the applicant must be empathetic, have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrate professionalism, and pay close attention to detail.
This receptionist is responsible for greeting all guest, vendors, physicians, county officials, patients and staff. The receptionist is responsible for inputting data for all referrals, calls, and admitting / discharging all patients.
You must be comfortable with multi-line phone system, demonstrate impeccable phone etiquette at all times, type a minimum of 35wpm, 10-key knowledge, and be familiar with the insurance verification process.
Must understand the importance and adhere to all HIPAA and Emtala laws, be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point.
Must be a team oriented individual, have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 1year of medical front and back desk experience required.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent education. Clerical certifications preferred. Must be Covid Vaccinated and Booster Vaccinated when Eligible according to California Mandate.
