In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

Work with a Multi-Disciplinary team to create engineering drawings to support the Automatic Test Station which include lower level mechanical and electrical parts, electronic modules, circuit card assemblies and Top level products.

  • Perform analysis and measurement of tolerances on new mechanical parts to ensure compliance to our drawings.
  • Research alternate parts for obsolete or difficult to procure items.
  • Work with our Mechanical suppliers to investigate, document and resolve issues. Travel to local suppliers may be required for resolution.
  • Research emerging trends, techniques, methods, and current best practices in the evolution of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Review current Mechanical Engineering processes and provide areas to improve efficiency and increase knowledge transfer
  • Prepare and present design review packages with mechanical data to both internal and external customers, and provide feedback to improve processes and work to meet engineering objectives.

Salary Range : $73,370 - $124,740

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Support and manage NGEN & RDT&E services.

Collaborate with data owners, information system owners, and users to secure use and operation of information systems (IS) and networks.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Minimum education and years of relevant / related experience : A Bachelor's of Science (BS) or Arts (BA) degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Cyber Security and three (3) years of relevant experience.

Five (5) years of directly related experience in engineering and securing DoD systems, minimum certification as IAT or IAM Level III and OS or networking certification per DoD 8570.

01-M, demonstrated experience with computer security, military system specifications, DoD IA policies, network and systems configuration and administration, demonstrated experience in the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Platform IT (PIT), and the implementation of Cyber Security and IA boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations may substitute for BS / BA.

A Master of Science or Arts degree will substitute for two years of the relevant experience requirement. Relevant experience : DIACAP process, system analysis, system audits, CISCO iOS, MS Window / Server, LINUX, network and system monitoring tools, IA compliance models and tools, IA control validation, risk management, incident response, and system security officer responsibilities.

Within the period of relevant experience, must have a minimum of two (2) years working in Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E).

Security clearance requirements : This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.

The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.

If selected candidate is not in possession of an active Secret clearance, then he / she will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted.

The qualified candidate will be working with the field engineering team to support and maintain Compass Call delivered mission systems and mission support systems at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ.

The candidate will serve as a System Administrator for systems operated in support of the Compass Call program, including for operations, maintenance, training, and testing.

The candidate will have detailed knowledge and expertise of the Information systems and provide day-to-day operations support.

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities may include the following :

  • The Systems Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

Full Time Onsite Work Requirement. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at the Davis Monthan AFB Tucson AZ contractor facility 100% of the time.

Candidate may be required at times to rotationally support 1st, 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts, to support site OPTEMPO.

Deployment events will range from one to twelve consecutive weeks at a time, and will be travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

OCONUS travel may include deployment into a hazardous environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain / maintain a TS / SCI security clearance (US Citizenship required)
  • Associates degree in a technical discipline (STEM Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 2+ years related experience or equivalent experience, training, and / or certifications.
  • Note : Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a security professional certification such as CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent, in accordance with DoD 8570.

01-M IAT Level II baseline certification, if you do not already have this certification.

  • Experience with system patching, STIG hardening and testing of remediation efforts
  • Experience with network infrastructure (switches and routers)
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic / collaborative environment

Job Description

The Security Engineer will help design security controls and help validate that services, applications, and emerging technologies are designed and implemented to the highest security standards.

The Security Engineer will be responsible for analyzing the security of Cloud platforms, applications and services, discovering and addressing security issues, building security automation, articulating the security posture of a service, and decisively taking action to mitigate emerging threats.

  • Ability to create an Incident Response Plan and perform monthly tabletop exercises to simulate various security incidents
  • Provide expertise in integration and engineering of security platforms
  • Perform security risk assessments of applications, infrastructure, and networks
  • Troubleshoot complex security issues
  • Set security standards across cloud environments and implement CSP policies in order to enforce those standards
  • Create security guidance and documentation

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other equivalent technical fields
  • 8 - 10 years of experience as a security engineer supporting large-scale enterprise operations
  • Experience with FISMA controls, continuous monitoring practices, NIST standards, and Risk Management Framework
  • Deep technology expertise in infrastructure including cloud and hybrid implementations, applications, and security
  • Security Certifications - CISSP

Job Description

  • Working on small moderately complex projects.
  • Conducting and documenting daily tool box talks.
  • Installing all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
  • Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and / or hardware at both a local and global level.
  • Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and / or hardware at both a local and global level.
  • Providing on-site software commissioning and testing.
  • Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
  • Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or
  • An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and / or maintenance activities

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 5-8 years of electronics installation and / or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • Strong Oral, & Written Skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% - 80% of the time.
