Here is an ad for zip recruiter Our client company is seeking an event & venue sales director in the Dallas area. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual with the ability to sell a well established venue for weddings, quinceaneras, birthday and graduation parties as well as corporate events.

The ideal candidate shall have

• 5 years or more event planning experience in selling a venue for weddings, parties, and corporate events with a strong portfolio of work.
• Work well independently and be able to create a client base and get referrals from satisfied customers
• The ability to effectively market the venue through all forms of social media
• Superior time management and negotiation skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Proficient with MS office software
• Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends when necessary
• Bachelors degree preferred.
