Job Summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a positive and skilled accounting manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Regional Controller, this position affords the opportunity to join America’s fastest growing job sector while gaining valuable experience in both manufacturing and retail.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department for subsidiaries including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management
  • Responsible for the month end close process including timely delivery of close package and related analysis
  • Assist team in ensuring all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial regulations
  • Ensure proper valuation of inventory and costs of goods sold at period end
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records and assist in periodic audits including year-end financial audit
  • Participate in SOX compliance efforts
  • Support parent company and Regional Controller in internal control initiatives
  • Liaise with parent company and Regional Controller to ensure goals and initiatives are being met
  • Train and develop finance staff; set goals, tasks, and department succession planning
  • Collaborate with Regional Controller and parent company’s accounting team on various projects

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting, including GAAP, inventory management, and budgeting
  • Familiar with SEC filings and SOX control requirements
  • Solid experience with general ledger / ERP systems; Sage Intacct and Leaf Logix a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthiness and ability to keep strict confidentiality
  • Team player with a professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Excel skills are a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and up for a challenge

Qualifications

CPA licensure a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or experience managing an accounting department; exposure to manufacturing / agriculture a plus

Job Summary

The Marketing Outreach Specialist is responsible for building and launching the Ayr Wellness physician and community outreach program in Florida.

The manager will develop market plans to identify and build relationships with physicians recommending medical marijuana hat drive patient referrals and oversee community outreach efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the curation of the doctor list, adding new doctors as they arise and targeting store-specific regions with each new store open.
  • Act as the point person contacting Florida doctors by phone and email, cultivating positive and ongoing relationships with doctors across the state.
  • Manage all tracking and reporting for the Physician Outreach program.
  • Manage all creative needs and materials used for the Physician Outreach program.
  • Manage relationship between printing vendor and AYR marketing for the Physician Outreach program.
  • Work in partnership with retail leadership on outreach opportunities that engage the retail teams when appropriate.
  • Assist FL marketing team with content creation, marketing strategy, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Qualifications

2-3 years of marketing experience; cannabis marketing experience is a plus

Education

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Summary

Ayr Wellness is looking for a highly creative, forward-thinking Marketing Manager to support retail and brand-specific marketing initiatives for the state of Nevada.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will be responsible for executing all consumer programming, social media and promotional strategy, utilizing a data-driven approach to customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall project planning calendar and master timeline for marketing and research, including key events, milestones and deliverables.
  • Create content as needed, and review in a timeline manner with appropriate leaders.
  • Manage marketing projects through entire lifecycle and ensure all marketing assets are organized and available on demand.
  • Manage all 3rd party vendor relationships (including retail cannabis vendors).
  • Organize and manage promotional activities for new product and service launches.
  • Localization and event coordination manage all aspects of retail and wholesale / brand localization with direction from Director of Marketing.
  • Lead our local community engagement for the state of Nevada.
  • Create and manage surveys, behavioral and market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Report on in-store KPI’s for all marketing and retail promotions.
  • Manage all retail social media. Work in conjunction with Digital Marketing Manager for social strategy.
  • Guide the flow of work and information through internal teams (design, editorial, production, programming).
  • Manage retail brand elements across regional retail locations, prioritizing consistency and convenience.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in marketing, and brand marketing in eCommerce or retail.
  • Experience in optimizing digital landing pages and user funnels.
  • Project management skills, with experience running large scope projects with cross over departments.
  • Cannabis experience strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in content design marketing, eCommerce marketing, Brand project management and / or retail marketing experience
