Job Summary and Opportunity

The B2B marketing strategy team at Axos currently has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator with the skills and desire to help support our commercial, custodian, and clearing businesses.

These marketing activities require a significant amount of self-direction and forward-thinking. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines within concurrent deadlines / activities are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Help draft and coordinate project and creative briefs
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing communications
  • Support the continued momentum of projects through project management, task tracking and execution
  • Write non-technical copy; edit and proofread marketing communications
  • Assist with maintaining campaign data and prospect lists
  • Create internal newsletters
  • Organize, archive, and maintain marketing assets to ensure efficient compliance and audit reviews
  • Support the strategy team by performing general tasks : administrative, tactical, and strategic in nature
  • Oversee the team's performance analytics - gathering data, and converting it into a compelling story

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years Marketing experience (agency or corporate setting preferred; financial services background a plus)
  • Ability to work on-premise in an office environment full-time
  • Relevant marketing and / or communication experience
  • Relevant experience with leadership or project management

Production Support Engineer

Job Summary and Opportunity

The Production Support Engineer is responsible for a variety of technologies and processes within Axos Clearing, including key securities infrastructure and production technologies.

The Production Operations Support Team manage the operation of the Scheduler and implement changes to its’ scheduled jobs that invoke scripts, SSIS jobs, controls of services, and logistical and monitoring jobs that support Axos Clearing’s ability to make trades for customers.

This position is on-site and located at our office in Omaha, NE, Centennial, CO, Las Vegas, NV, or San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix production software issues; improve monitoring solutions; perform software maintenance and configuration;

implement the fixes for internally developed code; update, track and resolve technical challenges

  • Participate in a shift-based, around-the-clock production cycle of support, ensuring communication and collaboration between the business and IT stakeholders, in support of their applications, services, and data
  • Maintain critical business applications
  • Review trends and suggest improvements and optimizations for those applications; adhere to release management procedures and provide testing and feedback
  • Provide Operations level support for batch processing systems / schedulers
  • Work with daytime Production Operations and Night Shift Production Operations, DevOps, Software Engineering teams to upgrade existing systems and assist in working to eliminate single points of failure
  • Assist Software Engineering to design and develop automation workflows; perform unit tests and conduct review to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered components
  • Troubleshoot problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customers
  • Represent Operations and the organization in timely communications with vendors and clients
  • Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environment
  • Identify reoccurring issues and work with IT & business partners to remediate using the problem management process

Requirements

  • 3+ years' of hands-on Windows operating systems engineering and troubleshooting
  • A working understanding of code and script (Powershell, Java, Groovy, Scala, .Net, Python, Ruby, AngularJs, NodeJs, and / or Go)
  • Strong background in OSI model and fundamental understanding of networking
  • Ability to use ticketing systems such as Service Now, Jira, ConnectWise, HP OpenDesk, etc.
  • Familiarity with use of MS Office applications in IT environment (Word, Visio, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Fundamental exposure to working with databases and understanding of SQL and / or MySQL
  • Some familiarity with proxies, load-balancing, DNS, and API support
  • Ability to use a wide variety of technologies, including : open source technologies, cloud services (AWS, Azure), IIS, Apache, Tomcat, F5, Apigee, CloudFlare, Azure Devops, CI / CD, APM
  • Experience with DevOps, such as automation / configuration management using Chef, Ansible, SCCM, LanDesk, Docker, Terraform, Packer.
  • Strong background in Windows, Active Directory, permissions / ACLs, IIS Administration, .Net Core, Office 365 / Exchange Administration.
  • Strong background in enterprise application support
  • Understanding of backup methods and storage volumes
  • Previous troubleshooting experience in a helpdesk or engineering capacity, in a fast-paced environment
  • Prompt, concise communication of service degradation, application warnings and failures

Preferred :

  • Secondary education in IT, Finance, or Project Management
  • Windows Administration coursework or certifications
  • ITIL familiarity
  • Project management experience
  • CCNA or Network + certification
