They are currently seeking to hire a *Staff Accountant* to join their team. Salary / Hourly Rate : $30 / hr $35 / hr Position Overview : The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient financial operations of the organization.

The Staff Accountant will be involved in various accounting tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the overall financial health and integrity of the company.

The Staff Accountant collaborates with other members of the Finance team and works under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and financial statements.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.* Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve any discrepancies.* Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant :

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.* Proven experience as a staff accountant or similar role.* Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Education Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Benefits :
