Bartender - Day Shift

Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and servicing beverages to our guests in a quick, efficient, friendly, and professional manner.

Ensure that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol, other responsibilities include maintaining a clean bar area, processing payments, and taking inventory of the bar.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Insure prompt expedient and courteous service to all guests and visitors to the outlet at all times.
  • Smile and show genuine interest in the guests’ needs or questions and always attempt to accommodate any reasonable request.
  • Receive and understand beverage orders and repeat them back to the guest and / or servers for accuracy.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine and liquors being offered for consumption.
  • Know the ingredients to the most commonly asked for cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them and the current prices.
  • Properly mix the drinks, set for presentation and serve the desired alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as requested by the guest and / or the cocktail servers.
  • Adhere to, enforce and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Circulates through the assigned bar area on a continuous basis to provide superior guest service.
  • Contact the Beverage Manager / Supervisor on duty for any guest related issues, if unable to assist in finding an agreeable solution to the defined issue.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free of dirty glassware, ashtrays, beer bottles, and dispose of other trash.
  • Abide by the established standards for health, safety and continual side work duties.
  • Ability to and willingness to work as a Team.

  • Decrease expenses through proper handling of product.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls;

reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine and liquors being offered for consumption.
  • Know the ingredients to cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them.
  • Continuously watch for signs of intoxication for the protection and enjoyment of all guests.
  • Ability to bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to 50lbs on a continuous schedule.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity of hand in order to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop.

Casino Shift Manager

Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! The Casino Shift Manager is the Acting General Manager on Duty and is responsible for performing numerous daily tasks and routines that ensure quality service is provided to all guests.

During each shift, the Casino Shift Manager will visit each operational area and converse with guests and Team Members to promote and facilitate the highest guest service attainable by identifying and correcting daily operational deficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Constantly review staffing needs and recommend increase / decrease in staffing levels to coincide with business demands.
  • Identify signage problems and notifying proper departments to correct.
  • Assist in resolving Team Member issues, responsible for motivating Team Members to ensure they are providing quality service.
  • Assist Managers and Supervisors to ensure that the operation is being managed in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain an active presence on the casino floor at all times.
  • Works hand in hand with security to ensure the safety of guests and Team Members.
  • Actively promotes Atlantis tournaments, promotions and events.
  • Resolves guest complaints and assists with guest incidents.
  • Provides regular communication with all levels of management with recommendations on improving effectiveness of operations.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • State of Nevada Gaming License Required.
  • Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Working knowledge of resort and hospitality operations including casino games, hotel and restaurants.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in a Table Games and Casino operations.
  • Able to remain calm under work pressure.

Overview

This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, design, execution, and analysis for email marketing, direct mail campaigns, and other marketing programs as assigned.

This position will also assist the marketing teams in validating data proofs for direct mail campaigns and other promotions as assigned.

Develops strong accountable working relationships with internal departments, as well as, outside vendors to coordinate all direct mail campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of direct mail programs designed to attract and retain new and existing customers to the casino.
  • Utilize Structured Query Language (SQL), data warehouses, relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases in analyzing various data sources (in-house databases, data warehouse, other third-party data sources, etc.

to develop queries and procedures for extracting and communicating required information.

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of casino kiosk promotions.
  • Work closely with Marketing on the planning and implementation of direct mail and email marketing, including proofreading all invites and any relevant collateral.
  • Work closely with Monarch Rewards Desk and VIP Hosts on guest related inquiries.
  • Coordinate direct mail projects with mail vendor and Art Department.
  • Responsible for database integrity (security, data cleansing, NCOA, etc.).
  • Will review and monitor results from promotions to determine effectiveness and revenue generating impact.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, IS, IT or Marketing or the equivalent
  • Previous Casino Marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, and high competency in a variety of reporting / analysis programs
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration

Responsibilities
