COMM - Airline Lead Line Service Technician
The Airline Lead Line Service Technician is responsible for the fueling, safety, productivity and service levels of the Airline Department / Commercial Into-Plane Fueling Operation.
Responsibilities
General Duties
- Strong working knowledge of Commercial Airline operations, customer service principles and the Atlantic Aviation service philosophy.
- Comply with all airport authority rules and regulations including AOA operations and airport security requirements.
- Participate in continuous training including NATA programs and company designed curriculum.
- Maintain high level of safety and customer service.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
- Coordinate and direct the activities of Airline Line Service Technicians assigned to his / her shift.
- Advise and report personnel issues to Line Manager / Operations Manager.
- Fuel Commercial Aircraft based up flight schedule.
- Ensure the highest quality of service is provided in a safe and cost effective manner to all customers.
- Ensure proper maintenance of FAA required Quality Control procedures and associated record keeping as relating to ATA 103 Standards and Commercial Into-plane customers’ fuel manual procedures.
- Train and develop new hires.
- Monitor fuel inventories.
- Operate fuel truck in accordance with company procedures and NATA guidelines.
- Fill up fuel truck at fuel farm when needed, assuring the highest level of safety.
- At airline gates so equipped, operate hydrant fueling system according to airline, airport and company guidelines.
- Complete all fuel tickets and paperwork with respect to daily fuel operations to ensure proper billing to the customer.
- Acceptance and control checks of fuel received into site operated fuel storage system(s).
- Operate vehicular and ground radio equipment.
- General cleaning of assigned fuel truck.
- General cleaning of aircraft at gate as directed by management.

Required Skills
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years experience in commercial aircraft fueling or as a Line Service Technician.
- High school graduation.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
- Customer relations skills required.
- Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays, and be on call.

We are seeking self-motivated, safe, positive, enthusiastic, goal oriented individuals for an immediate opening as a Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic.
Corporate aviation continues to be a viable means of travel for many who do not like the long lines and delays often times encountered with the airlines and many corporations are now leasing or purchasing their own private aircraft.
Our GSE Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the fixed base operation's (FBO) refueling and aircraft services equipment.
All equipment is maintained in accordance with the appropriate weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly preventative maintenance programs.
This equipment includes aircraft refueling trucks and fuel storage facility, ground power units, tugs, courtesy vehicles and the like.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aviation support equipment, particularly fuel trucks, is a must. This position does require you to work in all weather conditions, and flexibility with your schedule is a must as we operate 7 days a week.
As a minimum requirement, each applicant must possess the following :
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid state drivers license and meet the company's insurability requirements.
- Prefer knowledge of ATA 103 guidelines and fuel transfer equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and determine repair and maintenance requirements of ground support equipment, vehicles, and aviation support equipment, including heavy equipment, diesel and gas powered equipment, and aircraft power units
- Hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of the identified equipment and be capable of utilizing the mechanical tools of the trade, including diagnostic tools, as required.
