Purpose :

The Investment Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for performing investment analysis, as well as preparing investment-related disclosures and reporting for Athene.

This includes providing financial statement analysis, variance analysis, and financial results messaging to Athene's leadership.

Accountabilities :

  • Responsible for investment reporting on a GAAP and Statutory basis.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual 10Q / 10K investment disclosures.
  • Assist with Investor / Analyst questions.
  • Maintain process documentation and support audit requests.
  • Support the financial analysis of operating results, balance sheets, and other key performance indicators.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis of specific targeted areas to understand and explain results to management.
  • Support new assumed reinsurance initiatives and reporting considerations for strategic transactions.
  • Assist in IT / data capabilities and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with investment accounting, investment management, and other teams within Finance.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • 1-5 years of increasingly responsible financial analysis or financial reporting experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Knowledge of investment types and related reporting preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory financial accounting regulations a plus

Purpose :

Athene is looking for an IT Security Administrator II to join our dynamic Cybersecurity team.

In this role, you will be responsible for recommending, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management technologies and processes.

As a member of this team, be responsible for key deliverables of the security program while collaborating across various teams.

You will continue to learn and stay current in a fun and rapidly changing environment. This role encompasses Identity Access Management technologies and functions including Active Directory, O365, Azure, AWS, MFA and SSO administration, and automation of logical access processes.

Accountabilities :

Implement identity controls and settings that align with Athene’s policies and governance structure.

Work with Athene’s leadership team and key stakeholders to evaluate, create and implement least-privilege access models that align with Athene’s risk posture.

Support IAM governance, policies, and solutions across SSO and MFA, Active Directory, privileged accounts, and automation.

Assess, resolve, and escalate IAM issues that occur across the user base.

Secure access to both on-prem and cloud infrastructure, as well as to applications.

Administrate, analyze, maintain, and configure Athene’s Identity Access Management solutions. Perform reviews and audits of security access work.

Document access policies, processes, and exceptions, and maintain integrity for audit reviews.

Collect key performance indicators and related operational metrics, and track SLAs used to validate success as well as future areas of improvement.

Qualifications and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, related technical field and / or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of applicable information security experience including Identity Access Management and Privileged Account Management.

Moderate experience in MFA & SSO tools.

Moderate experience in administering Active Directory, O365, Azure, and AWS.

Preferable experience working with PowerShell or other programming / scripting languages.

Solid understanding of database security and relational databases.

Experience with remote administration tools, basic networking concepts and server administration.
