About the Opportunity

Using a hands-on approach, the marketing manager will create and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy designed to promote the company's products and services.

The ultimate goal is to deliver market-leading initiatives that position the company ahead of the competition and drive revenue.

In this role, you will :

  • Report to the General Manager and collaborate cross functionally with sales, product owners, and customer success team members to deliver consistent messaging and branding across all activities and departments.
  • Develop a marketing strategy to support the overall growth goals of the business.
  • Work with the marketing team to execute inbound and outbound marketing tactics to propel the strategy forward.
  • Create and maintain foundational marketing insights like customer personas, buyer journeys, competitive battle cards, and case studies.
  • Utilize marketing data and insights to solve business problems and define key opportunities in the education industry.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and progress towards goals (ROI and KPIs). Develop a plan for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the marketing team including assigning SMART goals and implementing a coaching plan to develop leaders.

We’re looking for people who have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business required; graduate degree a plus. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5-years’ experience in marketing or a related field, b2b marketing is required.
  • Critical thinking, analytical and strategic problem-solving skills as well as expertise in buyer persona, market research, cookie tracking, paid search.
  • Strong writing, proofing and editing skills
  • Ability to learn and teach others how to use new technologies
  • Extremely strong communication and organizational skills
  • High energy, a positive attitude, and an ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, especially SalesForce, is a plus
  • Experience with Word press, Marketo or other marketing automation experience a plus.
