Job Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, facilitation and resolution strategies to People Partner Team, key department leaders and employees at all levels within the respective business units with regards to People Relations matters.
- Develop an understanding of key business drivers and work closely with Chief People Officer and People Partner Team by evaluating employee feedback to design people-focused initiatives to enable business objectives.
- Participate in various People Relations matters by assisting with investigations, disputes, performance concerns, employee support / guidance and other duties as assigned.
May include presenting to the larger firm audience on early intervention strategies and related topics.
- Assist with people-focused initiatives such as culture, recruiting, recognition, and training / development.
- Build and maintain partnerships within the extended People Organization team including People Partner Team, People Operations, Benefits Team, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development.
- Reporting and analytics based on Firm needs and driving insights for People Partner Team using HRIS data, engagement software and other employee surveys.
- Handle employee inquiries, identify needs and escalate issues as necessary to appropriate leadership within a timely manner.
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
- Ability to interpret trends in employee relations issues and recommend interventions and solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience journey and partner with the People Partner Team to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
- Support any other special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of general Human Resources experience with atleast 2 years concentrated in People Relations
- Prior experience with or understanding of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence and offboarding).
- Knowledge of both Federal and State employment-related laws and regulations. Experience with California-based employers a plus.
- Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee journey through process improvements, automation, data & insights
- Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion, maturity, integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- HRCI and / or SHRM certfication preferred.
- Experience in Workday and ServiceNow experience a plus.4
- Professional Services expereince is a plus

Account Manager

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper also known as Account Manager will work directly with clients, as well as team members to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complete action items for clients.

Has direct client contact
Review mail, email, and other communications daily for actionable items, such as checks, invoices, notices, etc., and communicate timely to the team lead
Responsible for cash management, including cash transfers and managing cash balances
Enter / Review client’s invoices into accounting software and pay bills timely on an ongoing basis
Prepare wire transfers accurately and timely
Process, record, and review bank deposits into the correct entities / accounts
Run payroll
Review and reconcile intercompany activity between multiple entities
Review monthly bank reconciliations timely and accurately prepared by assistant bookkeeper
Prepare / Review cash receipt and disbursement report and send to client timely
Reviews AR Aging Report and follows up as necessary
Assist with preparation for financial statements
Assist with clients’ medical insurance reimbursements, as needed
Prepare / Assist with team lead of annual 1099 filings
Coordinate with third party payroll company to report periodic payroll runs, as needed
Review payroll tax returns prepared by payroll company to the general ledger, as needed
Assist and prepare Tax & License forms such as City Business License Returns, Secretary of State Statements of Information and Business Personal Property, as needed
Collaborate with team lead to prepare credit applications (mortgages, autos, etc.), as needed
Collaborate with team lead in communications with property & casualty insurance brokers, as needed
Communicate with clients’ vendors to resolve billing inquiries (telephone company, cable, etc.), as needed
Consistently attend team meetings to be informed of client needs
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
High school diploma is required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
At least 2 year(s) of experience working in Business Management
Datafaction / AgilLink knowledge is a plus
Has knowledge of bookkeeping concepts
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and preparation of pro-forma financial information
Provide technical expertise for US GAAP and SEC requirements including accounting research, documentation, and presentation to clients
Prepare accurate external financial reports to client, auditors, or the SEC, including the preparation, review, submission, and distribution of periodic financial reports, such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8K’s and proxy statements
Assist in the in the design and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
Assess and improve financial accounting close process, including accelerating and streamlining monthly and quarterly reporting processes
Liaison on behalf of the client with external auditors and internal decision makers to assist with Audit preparation
Assist with Cash to Accrual Accounting after a transaction, Opening Balance Sheet preparation and Purchase Accounting
Lead and manage projects while coordinating directly with clients
Foster proactive working relationships with clients and cross-functional departments
Supervise and mentor staff or make timely and effective performance feedback and training
Travel up to 25%. Note : for candidates in the Bay Area there will be out of area travel based on client needs
Requirements
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business-related field
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience with a minimum of 2 experience in a public accounting firm and operational accounting role
A strong and up-to date knowledge of US GAAP (exposure to IFRS is a plus), with deep technical understanding of topics such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, lease transactions, purchase accounting, etc.
and experience within the technical accounting or SEC reporting team of a company
