CUSTOMER SERVICE SECTION SUPERVISOR
Job Summary :
The purpose of the Customer Service Section Supervisor position is to supervise the Administration team of the Claims Division and demonstrate and understand applicable Workers Compensation statutes, rules, and case laws within the scope of the team's responsibilities.
This position will be responsible for the implementation of short-term and long-term strategies to ensure that the Commission meets its statutory obligations in these areas as set forth in A.
R.S. 23-901 et seq (Arizona Workers' Compensation Act) and all other applicable laws and rules.
Job Duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
This position assists in the day-to-day operations of the Claims Division’s daily operations; which includes ensuring adequate staffing, providing assistance, training and oversight of staff to ensure work is performed accurately and timely in compliance with Arizona workers’ compensations laws.
Management of assigned section(s) including establishing metrics that defined acceptable levels of performance and establishing monthly targets for each metric.
Review performance against those metrics and targets and take action when targets are not achieved. Conducts ongoing performance feedback and annual appraisals.
Perform audits of internal staff, vendor performance and customer interactions with Community. Analyze results and develop and implement training for internal and external customers;
may conduct workshops at the annual Claims Seminar.
Generate, review, and analyze various claims reports to identify performance measures and claims trends and other claims related research, statistical analysis, and report preparation.
Support continuous improvement efforts that improve the overall operations of the division and agency while providing a greater return to the State of AZ
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.

SOCIAL WORKER SUPERVISOR
Job Summary :
The Arizona State Veterans Home (ASVH) is looking for a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to serve the long-term care and rehabilitative needs of Arizona’s Veterans by providing oversight and provision of medically related social series designed to maintain the highest practicable mental and psycho-social well-being of each Veteran / Member.
ASVH is a skilled nursing facility.
The ideal candidate will supervise a staff of social workers to maintain a personal caseload of assigned Veteran / Members.
They will ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and facility policies and procedures.
The selected candidate will learn, implement and monitor the Arizona Management System (AMS) methods. They will utilizes AMS concepts and tools for problem solving, continuous process improvement, and work efficiency.
They will also incorporates a cultural focus on Veteran / Member-centered care in the performance of job duties.
Job Duties :
- Plans, organizes and supervises the social services program of the Arizona State Veteran Home, ensuring timely completion of assessments and documentation per federal and state regulations and facility policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with the PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) process.
- Supervises subordinate staff to ensure the goals and objectives of the work unit are met.
- Plans, organizes, assigns, and reviews the work of the Social Services staff.
- Provides training and support.
- Reviews and evaluates job performance of staff through monthly 1 on 1 coaching sessions and annual performance appraisals.
- Addresses staff problems. Recommends disciplinary actions. Interviews and selects staff.
- Oversees clinically appropriate discharge planning to ensure it is safe and communicated effectively to all involved stakeholders.
- Works with residents, families and staff to ensure that Veterans / Members are treated in accordance with Resident’s Rights.
- Manages Grievance Book.

WHAT DOES A CHILD SAFETY SPECIALIST DO?
A Child Safety Specialist offers valuable support and assistance to children and families in need. This role requires strong time management and critical thinking skills.
A Child Safety Specialist assesses child safety and risk while working with families, agencies and the courts for case planning.
This is a fast-paced environment, which requires organization, a high degree of expertise and skill in maintaining established quality and accuracy in work assignments.
A day in the life of a Child Safety Specialist can look like :
- Responding to reported allegations of child abuse and / or neglect
- Assessing child safety and risk
- Conducting investigations regarding a child abuse report
- Identifying supports and resources to help children remain safely at home
- Facilitating removal and arrangement of child(ren)into an alternative placement
