Job Description

Job SummaryAssists in operating a clean, sanitary, and orderly restaurant to help maintain the smooth operation of guest service, each and every shift.

Requirements

Essential Functions1.Completes opening and closing duties to insure guest readiness. 2.Cleans and sanitize the work areas in FOH including all guest High Touch Points before, during and after shift.

3.Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the restrooms every 30 minutes. Deep cleans bathroom 3 times a day.

4.Assists with pre-bussing and is responsible to clean, disinfect, rinse, sanitize all tables after the guest leaves.5.Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning & sanitation projects.

6.Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.7.Greets and interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.

8.Holds the door open for guests and assists / directs them.9.Takes guest take-out orders.10.Helps expedite food and drinks.

11.Packs and delivers to-go food. 12.Restocks service items, i.e., glasses, ice, condiments, etc.13.Works the service bar14.

Restocks bar items for bartenders, i.e., glasses, ice.15.Stocks and cleans beer cooler- including changing beer kegs.16.Empties trash cans when needed.

17. Completes all assigned prep work.18.Washes dishes and insures overall restaurant cleanliness.

Physical RequirementsMust be able to : 1.Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays, and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.

2.Place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.3.Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of approximately six (6) hours in length.

4.Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment. 5.Transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.

6.Lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight. Work Environment1.Work will be conducted in a restaurant environment including the kitchen.

2.May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment.3.May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces.

4.Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud. Job descriptions do not typically include every duty or responsibility that a person in the role may be asked to perform.

May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Wages : $15 / per hour
