Looking for a Mechanical design engineer for a RAD-IRAD program. Position requires an experienced engineer capable of leading technical feasibility studies, conceptual design trades, and cost benefit analyses related to packaging new subsystems and structures into a missile to reduce cost, improve performance, and / or enable component commonality with other missiles.

Skills : Mechanical Engineer

• Detailed design, drawing creation, and prototype development,
• Proficient in the use of Catia V5 surfacing,
• Ability to perform design trade studies, tolerance analysis, evaluating cost, weight, structural / thermal benefits,
• Travel to Troy or suppliers may be required on an as needed basis,
• Familiar with mechanical hardware fabrication approaches and techniques. 69532
