Director of Hotel Revenue Management (On-Site)
Reports to : General Manager, position is exempt WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Four (4) years' experience in hotel / hospitality revenue management

THE ROLE The Director of Revenue Management oversees Revenue Management for the local property and reports to the General Manager with an indirect reporting line to the Director of Revenue Strategy at Aparium.
It is critical the person in this position possess a background of advanced revenue management skills with an analytical mindset, thorough knowledge of hotel PMS, CRS and RMS and has fulfilled the role of a Director of Revenue Management or a Senior Analyst role previous to applying for this position.

- Identify and communicate demand periods (high and low) for which a strategic plan is needed and executed
- Analysis and ongoing review of competitive pricing trends and strategies and adjust accordingly to ensure RevPAR penetration and market leadership are met or exceeded
- Develop strategies to achieve or exceed monthly RevPAR index goals
- Review distribution channel performance to ensure OTA contribution is in line or below budget expectations and opportunities to yield out these channels are deployed on an ongoing basis
- Work with the Director of Sales to ensure a defined rate quoting strategy is in place for the negotiated RFP season. Rates and strategy are to align with the budget expectations and analysis vs.
comp set and penetration in this segment.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistent management of all reservations activity and distribution content
- Lead weekly revenue management strategy meetings with the hotel team to ensure a collaborative meeting to review performance and strategic action items to improve performance
- Ensure that room and rate availability are 100% accurate in all channels per accordance with demand and pre-determined RMS yielding strategy for an ongoing 12-month period
- Demonstrates a high degree of drive and determination and the willingness to complete tasks and projects as assigned by the General manager or VP of Revenue Management

Position Rate of Pay : $15.87 per hour + gratuities As a condition of employment, all associates will be entered into a tip pool.
