- Under general direction, manage, supervise and coordinate the activities of the Planning Division including both current and advanced planning activities;

Knowledge of : Comprehensive knowledge of modern and highly complex principles and practices of urban planning; principles of personnel administration, supervision and training;
research methods and sources of information related to urban planning and development; legislation related to urban planning including the administration of a general plan and development review.
- Ability to : Supervise, train and evaluate professional, technical and clerical staff; interpret applicable laws, rules and regulations;
- prepare and analyze planning related reports, statements and correspondence; develop and administer a Division budget; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing;
establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Qualifications :

- Internship experience a plus.

- Strong report writing, research, and presentation skills required.
