ROLE SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for engineering the move from Citrix Virtual Desktops to Azure Virtual Desktops across a global footprint.

The candidate will assist the lead engineer in project objective to complete the transition. Working closely with security and application teams, the individual will engineer the move, create the necessary supporting documentation / runbooks and sunset current Citrix environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as engineer for the migration from Citrix to Windows Virtual Desktop, following Sompo International architecture, technical and security standards
  • Provide technical support for nay complex issues within Citrix Environment.
  • Ensures that End User Computing engineering and support documentation is created and approved
  • Provides hyper-care and performance tuning support during the project
  • Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the infrastructure
  • Engineer and support multiple Windows desktop images
  • Package, test and deploy new applications as needed
  • Maintain and expand existing Knowledge Base
  • Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment including Creating Images, deploy VMs, monitor VM performance
  • Develop automated solutions for deploying software packages, application patches / updates and workstation images
  • Engineer and support multiple Windows desktop images
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of our global standard desktop and laptop models
  • Maintain desktop images and modify SCCM task sequences as needed
  • Create new and maintain existing support documents to Maintain high standards in quality in the delivery of End User Computing services
  • Provide advice, guidance, and direction to carry out plans and procedures, ensuring schedule attainment, product development process adherence and performance
  • Provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years hands on experience working with Azure Virtual Desktops
  • Working knowledge on XenApp, XenDesktop, VMWare Hypervisor, Microsoft Azure, Citrix UPM, FsLogix, GPO, Active Directory and PowerShell
  • Knowledge on Citrix NetScaler
  • Experience developing and testing software packages using Install shield or equivalent
  • Skills managing a VDI environment (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred)
  • Experience in Virtual Application Packaging (Azure MSIX, AppAttach or Azure Remote Apps)
  • Experience in software development life cycle methodologies and current technology
  • Performed migration to Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (Citrix, VMware)
  • Expert with SCCM administration, Patch Management, Imaging, Scripting, MSI, Packaging & Automation
  • Expert with administering and deploying software using SCCM in a global environment, developing and maintaining workstation images using SCCM
  • Expert in patch management including bios and firmware updates, service pack upgrades, and application-based updates
  • Scripting Experience a plus (batch, SQL, PowerShell, vbscript)
  • industry best practices to manage Windows-based projects
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL framework

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5 years’ Experience in System Engineer

Job Description : Summary :

This position is accountable for accurately reviewing, interpreting, auditing, coding and analyzing medical record documentation for diagnosis accuracy, correct documentation, and Hierarchical Coding Condition (HCC) abstraction.

Review may include inpatient, outpatient treatment and / or professional medical services, according to ICD-9 / ICD-10 CM coding guidelines and risk adjustment model regulations.

This position supports Annual Commercial (ACA) and Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Data Validation Audits (RADV) along with the annual Risk Adjustment life cycle for the Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business.

Responsibilities :

  • Can understand and translate CPT, HCPC, ICD-9 / ICD-10 codes for HCC abstraction.
  • Review medical records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable coding guidelines and regulations.
  • Identify, compile and code member / patient data, using ICD-9 / ICD 10-CM and other standard classification coding systems.
  • Support the collection and distribution of documentation and coding improvement tools for designated practice units as applicable.
  • Support educational activities for internal stakeholders as necessary as subject matter expert on coding review / guidelines.
  • Actively participate & engage in program improvement discussions and activities.
  • Maintains department productivity and accuracy standards.

Qualifications :

  • Requires current Registered Health Information Technologies (RHIT) or Certified Professional Coder designation from the American Academy of Professional Coders or a Certified Coding Specialist , P from the American Health Information Management (AHIMA)
  • Requires 2 - 5 years of Medical Coding experience
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Health Insurance / quality chart audits and / or Utilization Review
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge

  • Requires proficiency in the CPT-4, HCPC, ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding
  • Requires knowledge of medical terminology of medical procedures, abbreviations and terms
  • Requires knowledge of the health care delivery system

Skills and Abilities

  • Requires the ability to utilize a personal computer and applicable software (
  • e.g. proficiency in Word and Excel)
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work well within a team
  • Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company standards and a commitment to personal and professional development
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to ask probing questions and obtain thorough and relevant information
  • This is a Remote role
