Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical equipment and supplies to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
  • Instruct patients on the safe and appropriate use of medical equipment
  • Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training of new patients
  • Conduct daily deliveries
  • Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety of the loading and unloading process
  • Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers and internal team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
  • Work on-call during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies

  • Completes monthly inspection of all time sensitive goods to ensure no expired products are on shelves
  • Maintains adequate "on time" inventory of supplies and goods
  • Ensures returned equipment is isolated in the dirty area of the warehouse and processed in a timely manner
  • Ensures all "Patient Ready" equipment is checked for proper function, documented, bagged, and tagged before stored in the appropriate location
  • Rotates supplies to ensure proper utilization and minimum waste of time sensitive materials
  • Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operation prior to distribution
