We are looking for a Compliance Assurance Professional to join our fast-growing Global Assurance team and support our regulated payments and lending businesses within in the Americas. The successful candidate should help the rollout and execution of our second line of defense risk monitoring in the region and has ideally extensive knowledge of North or Latin America's regulatory regimes governing financial services institutions. The successful candidate is an ambitious self-starter, with a proven capability to work independently and as part of a team, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and a sound knowledge of relevant Assurance or Audit practices.
The role is uniquely placed to work directly with Regional Leaders to drive scalable risk and compliance testing solutions across many areas to help maintain a compliant status vis-à-vis regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will therefore work closely with the Global Assurance team stakeholders (Compliance Officers, Payments Risk, Governance, Internal Audit and other Operational and Support teams) to provide Senior Management with adequate visibility on regulatory risk exposure and the status of internal controls.
The successful candidate is ideally responsible of assessing risks, producing regulatory analysis and reports, and designing continuous testing solutions. The candidate is also a quick learner with an ability to absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied offerings, their risks and internal systems and practices.



Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate should have strong business and communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders via data-driven and actionable insights. The successful candidate will also:
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and solid understanding of relevant anti-money laundering, countering terrorism regulations, consumer protection and lending regulations.
• Significantly contribute to the design, development, implementation, and execution of assurance testing for the Americas, lead issue validation activities with stakeholders and report to Senior Management;
• Ability to learn and understand business processes, regulations, internal controls, and develop meaningful tests to determine control design adequacy and operating effectiveness;
• Perform operational deep dives to understand and find gaps in compliance-related processes and services;
• Identify and assess inherent and residual risks related to control deficiencies;
• Work with compliance office personnel, business units legal, and technology partners to identify deficiencies in internal controls and operational processes and identify root cause of issues;
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, including identifying and implementing best practices in effective and innovative ways.
• Continuously Identify industry best practices and contribute to the improvement of the Assurance Program;
• Embrace the use of data analytics to increase value and reduce costs of compliance-related assurance activities;
• Manage several projects simultaneously with precision and accuracy.

Amazon Pay, one of the fastest growing businesses within Amazon, is looking for a dynamic and data-driven Senior Partner Marketing Manager to join the US Marketing team. With Amazon Pay, more than 300 million customers can use their Amazon account to make purchases or payments, using the payment methods they already use with Amazon. By sharing the ease and simplicity of selling to an Amazon customer, we help merchants grow their registered customer base and increase their sales.

The Sr Partner Marketing Manager will own co-marketing programs with strategic internal and external Amazon Pay partners, to generate demand and drive acquisition of merchants for Amazon Pay at scale. You will analyze channels’ performance to build a comprehensive partner co-marketing strategy, work with internal and external partners to propose and develop appropriate co-marketing relationships according to the partner profile, build campaign strategies and implement co-marketing initiatives in Amazon-operated and partner-operated channels. The successful candidate is data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, is an effective collaborator and strong communicator to work with key stakeholders across multiple teams. Reporting to the Head of US Mass business, this role is a key member of the global marketing team and will work closely with our central marketing functions, US commercial leaders and partner management teams.


Key job responsibilities
• Establish, implement, and measure the effectiveness of partner co-marketing campaigns that drive awareness and acquisition of merchants for Amazon Pay
• Collaborate closely with product and business teams to manage time-sensitive projects
• Work closely with key stakeholders to identify the partner roadmaps, define top performing metrics, and deliver a plan to optimize success
• Assess partner and merchant behaviors, and the needs of business and product teams to build solutions that supports acquisition and growth
• Track and optimize channel performance
• Expand our partner co-marketing program by driving best practices and methodically testing and learning
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate, test, and refine the end-to-end co-marketing channel experience
• Measure and report on results, identify trends/insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights across campaigns and programs to achieve KPI’s
• Lead yearly and quarterly marketing planning process, manage budget
• Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in Sales, Account Management and GTM teams, including senior leaders across US business
