As a Materials Planner, you will collaborating with suppliers on numerous innovative projects. Some of your key responsibilities will include :

  • Managing purchase requisitions for material planning documents creation with internal suppliers
  • Owning the follow up with Procurement at the purchase requisition level maturity for launching material planning documents with external suppliers
  • Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data
  • Creating the material planning documents & respective source list and quota management
  • Communicating the material planning documents to suppliers and follow suppliers confirmation
  • Analyzing suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk / impact anticipation on production / projects
  • Identifying priorities associated with risk / impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
  • Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances

In this role you will be a key contributor to multimillion- dollar projects. Your success will be determined by your ability to deliver results in a challenging supply chain environment.

To do this, you will need to bring a well developed skillset of organization, analytical skills, as well as exceptional communication skills.

Required Qualifications :

2+ years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proven experience working in SAP is strongly preferred
  • APICS certification is preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of ERP techniques and supplier collaboration tools
  • Solid understanding of demand planning processes

As a Traction Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed Mechanical Design of electro-mechanical assemblies of Propulsion equipment for railway systems.

As a Project Planner you will be an integral member of the project core team collaborating with multiple Sub-System Managers, owner of time management topic for your area, providing proper time management information to support decision making to reach expected OTD performance of the project (tender, contract or program execution).

You will be working to develop and maintain the project schedule (internal) for your area while facilitating the synchronization of internal stakeholders.

Some of your key responsibilities will include :

  • Analyzing and contributing to the schedule management requirements of the Senior PrPM and / or Sub-System Manager
  • Defining tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tender

Manage the controlling and financial reporting of projects in accordance with internal control rules and ensures project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines and ensure consistency with project teams (Planning, Sourcing, etc.

After gathering enough experience (assessed by his Manager), the Finance Project Analyst leads with the support of a Senior FPM, finances for projects rated No Criticality, in order to improve the project overall performance.

Join us as a Senior Mechanical Switch / Wayside Engineer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

As a Senior Mechanical Switch / Wayside Engineer, you will work with other Engineers, Project Teams, Suppliers, Consultants, Contractors and others to design and scope effective interfaces and design criteria for wayside track switches and other mechanical wayside sub-systems that comprise world class Transit Systems in Proposals, Projects and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) applications.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Lead system level and detailed design reviews and provide leadership for sub-system design reviews to ensure that all internal and external requirements have been met.
  • Work within the wayside engineering team and project teams to prepare bids, proposals, design drawings, design specifications and design criteria wayside track switches and other mechanical sub-systems such as guideway and power rail heating.
  • Prepare scope, drawings and details, design calculations, reference material such that baseline designs and interfaces are established and maintained.
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, aggressive environment.
  • Ability to work effectively / prioritize tasks on multiple projects and proposals concurrently while respecting allocated budgets and defined schedules.
