Principle Responsibilities
Provides therapy to patients. Assesses each patient, as related to the therapy requested on physician referral and provides reassessments.
Gathers data including patient past and current health issues, systems review, selection of tests and measures to elicit additional information.
Makes clinical judgments based on examination and data gathered to generate an accurate therapy diagnosis.Predicts optimal level of improvement and amount of time needed to reach that level.
Uses reexamination to determine whether predicted outcomes and goals are reasonable and modifies as necessary.Involves patient and family in establishing goals of treatment.
Designs implements and modifies therapeutic interventions.Uses re-examination to determine whether predicted outcomes are reasonable modifies as necessary.
Coordinates, communicates, documents and bills per program, regulatory and professional standards.Accommodates selection of tests and measures and therapeutic interventions to the age of the patient or client.
Make referrals to other practitioners as appropriate.Selects and delegates appropriate tasks of the plan of care per professional guidelines.
Supervises the therapeutic program and maintains oversight of the plan of care.Promotes rehab services by ensuring patient and physician satisfaction.
Participates in performance improvement and process improvement activities for the department. Supports and promotes new services as requested.
Provides ongoing input to enhance the services provided by the department.Develops and promotes new and current programs as requested.
Assists co-workers in managing the teams’ productivity / performance targets.Manage their daily patient schedule.Assists in maintaining an efficient clinic flow including assisting with scheduling, cleaning rooms and laundry.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required
- 0 to 2 years in the practice or program area required
- Licensed Physical Therapist - MN State Board of Physical Therapy required if providing services in Minnesota upon hire or
- Licensed Physical Therapist - WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services required if providing services in Wisconsin upon hire and
- Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment if providing services for Home Care and Hospice

Medical Dosimetrist
Description
Principle Responsibilities
Treatment planning.Design a treatment plan by means of computer and / or manual computation to deliver prescribed dose in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription.
Obtain patient data via data sets from imaging devices and incorporate into treatment plans.Utilizes computer software and various imaging modalities.
Interprets and delineates anatomy and anatomical positioning on various imaging modalities.Applies detailed knowledge of radiobiology to treatment plans.
Create and transfer reference images and localization markers for portal verification and treatment delivery.Performs or assists in the planning of fabrication of compensation filters, custom shields, wedges and other beam modifying devices.
Performs contouring, calculates does, evaluates isodose distribution.
Collaborative practice.Consults with the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist regarding treatment planning.May work with the radiation therapist for patient positioning and or treatment setup.
Participates in weekly treatment planning conference, CQI, or other committees as assigned.Participates in special procedures offered in the department.
Participates in development and implementation of new treatment techniques or technology.May provide education to patient regarding their treatment plan.
May provide education and treatment planning instruction to staff and students as required.Provide emergency call coverage.
DocumentationPrepares treatment plan documentation in accordance with department policies.Documents treatment planning and quality assurance tasks accordingly.
Performs accurate charge capture.Adherence to protocol parameters and submission of necessary documentation.Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Associate's or Vocational degree in JRCERT accredited Radiation Therapy Program preferred or
- Bachelor's degree in JRCERT accredited Radiation Therapy Program preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in radiation oncology required
- Minimum 2 years experience in use of treatment planning system, modes and techniques of radiation therapies, 3D and 2D calculations required
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire
- Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) In radiation therapy upon hire preferred
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist from Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) upon hire required

Environmental service
Description
Principle Responsibilities
Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of heath care facility.Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas.
Cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, emptying trash, changing bed linen, vacuuming, operating auto scrub machine to clean floors and others.
Potential and actual safety hazards are identified and reported.Reports building items, furnishings, and equipment in need of repair or replacement.
- Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the health care facility.Collects soiled linen to avoid accumulation in all areas utilizing all safety precautions and proper personal protective equipment.
- May stock clean linen in linen room and departments.May maintain proper levels of linen inventory.
- Utilizes hospital equipment and supplies in a safe and effective manner.Keeps cleaning cart organized, clean and stocked.
Keeps cleaning closets organized and clean.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School or GED or 6 months similar work experience required
- Less than 2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma / GED required
