What does the job entail?

Develop and execute channel-right and captivating social media strategies that reflect our brand's values and ignite brand love among our audience.

Harness the power of storytelling to create and curate compelling content across diverse social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Develop and maintain a meticulously crafted social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule that resonates with our audience and embodies our brand essence.

Seamlessly integrate social media advertising campaigns, leveraging audience targeting, budget allocation, and performance tracking for optimal results.

Foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

Act as a thought partner to our Brand Marketing and Comms teams for quarterly marketing campaigns, product launches and cultural moments.

Work with our Creative team to produce social-first content that resonates with our audience, builds organic awareness, and shares brand / product attributes in a unique way.

Master the Allbirds tone, orchestrate in-house photo and video shoots, and produce engaging visual and written social content for brand activations.

Identify and engage the creator community in style or performance-driven content creation partnerships.

Partner with our Customer Experience to monitor social media channels diligently, promptly responding to mentions, comments, and customer inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Analyze social media metrics and insights, extracting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of campaigns, and develop reports that highlight the value delivered as well as recommendations for improvements based on learnings.

Stay ahead of the latest social media trends, tools, best practices, continuously providing innovative recommendations to elevate our online presence.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis, unearthing opportunities to deepen engagement and drive growth.

Remain current with industry trends, news, and events, strategically leveraging them to create timely and relevant content that captivates our audience.

What kind of person are we looking for?

5-7 years of experience in a social media management role, ideally with experience in content creation and other short-form digital content at a consumer and / or lifestyle brand.

Demonstrable work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, with a proven track record of building brand love through captivating storytelling and engaging content.

Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with the ability to anticipate emerging trends and leverage them to create compelling narratives.

Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create enchanting content that resonates with our audience.

A deep understanding of branding principles and the ability to maintain brand consistency and narrative coherence across various social media channels.

A creative thinker with the capacity to generate innovative ideas, adapt to changing market trends, and infuse them into our content strategy.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from social media data to enhance campaign performance and audience engagement.

Experience working on photo and video creation art directing, producing, and concepting, filming, and editing (filming and editing on mobile acceptable).

Strong existing relationships with key digital creators, influencers and tastemakers.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

A self-starter who thrives both independently and within a collaborative team environment, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Comfortable working with teams around the world.

More practical skills needed :

BA / BS or equivalent work experience

Experience using Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Sprout Social or other social media management platforms

Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Intermediate Excel / Google Sheet skills

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Art direction experience
