CONTRACT-TO-HIRE KCMO BUYER / PLANNER

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Our Client is seeking a Buyer Planner to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently planning, purchasing and managing assigned supply points and / or product lines while maintaining high customer service levels.

You will work closely with supervisors to ensure all customer commitment dates are met and release purchase orders for production material as required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, purchase and manage assigned supply points and / or product lines
• Review open customer orders / shop orders and prepare daily production plan
• Release purchase orders for production material as required
• Use inventory replenishment methods to minimize dead or slow moving inventory
• Resolve problems with quality, delivery dates, quantity and invoicing of purchased commodities
• Manage various databases including MRP
• Work with warehouse, manufacturing, customer service, maintenance and shipping teams
• Participate in Quality Improvement Process to resolve problems in the work environment
• Appraise vendors’ performance based on metrics such as on time delivery

Qualifications :

• Minimum Associates Degree (2yr)
• Minimum internship or co-op experience in Purchasing, Material Control or Manufacturing planning
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability
• Customer Service driven
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite

CONTRACT TO HIRE MANUFACTURING TECHNICIANS KANSAS CITY, MO

• Start : ASAP
• Day shift
• Pay : $19-22 / hour

As a Manufacturing technician, you will be responsible for having trained in all activities pertaining to the shop floor including skill sets in : Cut, Groove, Hole Cut and Assembly.

Specific duties and responsibilities may include :

Daily :

• Performing shop floor day to day operations.
• Following with current project schedules and material management.
• Performing all operations associated with the fabrication cell proficiently.
• Completing all daily checklists and TPM’s
• Enforcing a safe work environment and ensuring incidents, near misses, and all other safety related matters are reported properly to lead / Mgmt.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned by Lead / Mgmt.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 3 years of technical experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings and interpret technical manuals (can be trained on this)
• Experience with forklift-mounted computers and bar-code scanners (can be trained on the job)
• Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Must pass a weldability test / must be 6G certified within 3 months of hire.
• Good attendance and reliable

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team. This role will use provided resources (hardware, software, training) to quickly connect and screen individuals that have matching skillsets and an interest in job openings that we are working to.

These positions are mostly Engineering & Construction related (but not limited to) and can be located anywhere in the USA (often times these roles are for travelers).

To start, this role will mostly be focused on connecting with candidates identified by our sourcing team. The majority of duties will be emailing, scheduling calls and / or cold calling applicants to then screen candidates to make sure they are interested and fit the open position.
