Acutronic Simulation & Test USA (ASTU) is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join our Pittsburgh, PA team. Our ideal candidate would have a valid driver’s license;

attend forklift training and obtain certification; and at least two years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, utilizing ERP systems, or forklift operations.

These high-precision motion simulators are used in the aerospace, defense, automotive, and consumer electronics industries to test and calibrate sensors and missiles.

Acutronic’s Aerospace Components Division develops and manufactures specialty components for use on unmanned aerial vehicles and optionally-piloted aircraft.

These products are used on next-generation aerospace programs and include a range of electric power systems, servo-actuators, micro-turbines and Hybrid-Electrical-Propulsion-Systems.

Acutronic is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Your roles / responsibilities will include : Physically receive and visually inspect all incoming goods Perform receiving transactions against PO’s in ERP system Notify responsible parties of receipt of goods requiring incoming inspection Maintaining the organization of receiving areas Pull inventory against project BOM’s and prepare kits for wiring and / or assembly Perform project inventory transactions in ERP system Update project kits and perform inventory transactions as goods are received Participate in cycle count inventory Provide internal shipping documents to Administration for processing Your qualifications / skills should include : Must have a valid driver’s license Must attend Fork Truck training and obtain certification At least two years of experience in Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, Utilizing ERP systems, or Forklift operation.

Must be a U.S. Person Position type / physical demand : Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and stand in order to perform job duties;

frequent lifting and moving of heavy parts weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds.

This position is performed in both a storeroom and assembly area of a shop environment. The shop environment consists of the constant use of tools in the machining of components and assembly of machines.

Lifting equipment, rotating machinery and electronic equipment are constantly present. While performing the duties of this job the incumbent is exposed to the danger of electric shock and must follow strict adherence to established safety standards.

The engineer in this role will have broad responsibility and ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from proposal through qualification testing and production support.

Tolerance stack-up of precision assemblies Support proposal efforts in a fast-paced aerospace environment Assess customer system level requirements Develop derived requirements Produce requirements compliance matrix Generate engineering models of proposed designs with substantiating analysis balancing rigor and speed Contribute to estimating recurring and non-recurring costs Contribute to development schedule Develop weight and cost estimates Creation and ownership of CAD models Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) (structural and thermal) Create detailed component and assembly drawings Perform basic project management tasks as required Generate customer deliverable test procedures and reports (ATP, QTP, QTR, etc.
