Responsibilities

System administrators also known as sysadmins information technology (IT) professionals must ensure Acuity International’s computer systems are functioning and meet the needs of the organization.

Sysadmins support, troubleshoot, and maintain computer servers and networks. Must have in-depth knowledge of operating systems, familiarity with hardware, cloud computing skills, knowledge of networks, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work directly with employees across the organization and understand their needs, where employees can work as efficiently as possible.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or related degree
  • 2-3+ years of experience in IT or Business Systems
  • Certifications will be considered : Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certified, Google IT Support Professional Certification, Red Hat System Administrator Certification, CompTIA Server+ or A+, Network+ certified, and any other relevant credentials for the position.
  • Reports directly to the IT Lead.
  • Manages Windows, Linux, or Mac systems.
  • Assists with upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware.
  • Troubleshoots and provides technical support to employees.
  • Creates and manages system permissions and user accounts.
  • Performs regular security tests and security monitoring.
  • Monitors the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors.
  • Maintains networks and network file systems.
  • Will also work closely with Acuity International’s corporate IT teams to ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and will solicit corporate knowledge of our established informatics and communication systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement / Logistics position reports directly to the Procurement Lead
  • This position requires the understanding of the procurement system to include purchasing and managing inventory, record keeping, contract negotiations, and the assessment of financial performance of products.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring competition on all procurements, and if competition is unavailable, must be able to provide adequate justification as to why competition is not possible.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform and / or provide direction and support for the following services :

  • Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical of UAC
  • Complete medical screening on pediatric / adolescent UAC’s within 48 hours of entrance to residential facility
  • Refer children as needed to specialist or hospital ER
  • Screen for Tuberculosis and other contagious disease
  • Recommend appropriate isolation as needed to protect health of child and others
  • Screen for pregnancy
  • Interpretation and analyze laboratory results sign results enter into UAC Portal
  • Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities for UAC as needed
  • Monitors effectiveness of interventions
  • Facilitates the UAC’s transition within and between health care settings (e.g. Observation, Isolation, Intake, and / or Daily Living)
  • Collaborate with inter / intra departmental personnel (e.g. all medical staff, mental health providers, case managers) to enhance UAC plan of care
  • Accurate documentation in UAC medical record, Medication administration record, SharePoint, and UAC portal according to training guidelines
  • Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management System software.
  • Complies with all applicable Acuity standards and guidelines.
  • Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.

  • Five years of clinical pediatric / adolescent experience preferred
  • Emergency medicine experience is highly desirable

  • Current national certification in specialty area such as NCCPA, AANP or ANCC

This position provides case management of the Young Adult Case Management Program (YACMP) participants from entry into the program to release by administering the program’s policies and procedures in compliance with contractual obligations.

Duties

  • Collaborates with organizations that have experience connecting families with local community-based organizations (include medical, mental health, trauma informed care, ethnic community groups, religious organizations, educational resources, and other community-based services).
  • Identifies and maintains relationships with translation resources in the community, including private services, volunteers, universities, English as a Second Language (ESL) schools, Non-Governmental Organizations, churches, and other organizations that might have resources to offer the young adult.
  • Coordinates participant transportation to ensure appearance at court hearings and appointments related to their immigration case.

Maintain and provide participants with all public transportation options, and how to use public transportation in their area of residence.

Assist participants with planning their transportation to required court hearing and other appointments.

  • Informs participants of their legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations. Communicates the importance of compliance with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) reporting requirements, immigration court appearance dates, and removal orders.
  • Confirm enrollment in school. All school-aged children are required to enroll in and attend school per state requirements.
