Security Agent
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspects airline equipment and checks for any unauthorized items.
- Screens cargo using equipment / method designated by customer and according to customer’s specifications.
- Performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding according to customer’s specifications.
- Observes and monitors unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection / validation duties.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
- Reports to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, depending on size of unit.
- Activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on size of unit.
Education :
High school diploma or GED
Requirements :
- New employees required to complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10-year background check (10 year listed; 5 year verified)
- Not have been convicted of any of the listed FAA Disqualifying Crimes;.
- Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated

Possess written and oral communication skills in English.

Security guard
Essential Functions :
Airport Security Guards may be asked to perform many essential functions at the airport where they work, although not an exhaustive list, these are a few of them :
- Control access to restricted areas of airport, only allowing access to authorized individuals
- Screen and log vehicles accessing restricted areas
- Control access and conduct vehicle inspections at perimeter access points to the Airport’s secured areas
- Conduct inspections of employees and visual inspection of belongings
- Patrol airport premises as assigned
- Issuing temporary vehicle access media
- Monitor airfield permits
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Provide passenger assistance
Additional Responsibilities :
- Prepare Incident / Occurrence Reports for any incident or event that directly involves customer complaints / concerns, safety / security or operational issues / events;
- Officers report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
- Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- Fully embrace security / safety training programs to enhance their ability to advance in their careers.
- Participate in industry specific security / safety training programs to offer our clients the best trained officers at their airports.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Airport Security Guards
- Be aware of and familiar with the airport-specific operations performance manual and post orders.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Preferable to have at least two (2) years verifiable previous contract security, military or law enforcement experience.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record necessary for some positions
- Must be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration;
- Must be able to pass a Criminal History Record Check as required by the Transportation Security Administration
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance to ensure avoidance of unpredictable, frequent and / or ongoing tardiness.
- Ability to providing quality customer service.
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position thus must be physically capable of standing or walking an entire shift, able to lift a 25lb fire extinguisher, capable of lifting a child or assist the lifting of handicapped individuals.

Security supervisor
Position Summary :
Provides oversight and ensures compliance for all service lines of business, according to TSA and Airline regulations. Serves in a leadership capacity and a representative of ACTS-Aviation Security in the specified units.
Primarily utilized in units having complex service requirements, multiple unit operations, and / or larger employee base.
Adheres to and promotes ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. commitment to quality of service, compliance with customer specifications and government agency regulations and focus on safety in the work environment.
Salary : $22.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Supervisors provide support to ACTS Security Officers in the daily activities established by the customer’s
- Performs or assists in scheduling and assigning the Security Officers to ensure proper coverage and relief for the ACTS-Aviation Security
- Performs regularly scheduled documented audits of employee work performance according to ACTS-Aviation Security
- Reports all daily, weekly, monthly activities to the appropriate member of
- Conducts and ensures that all training and documentation of new hirer employees are provided to
- Disciplines Security Officers as necessary.
- Maintains all provisions, regulations, procedures and processes in current collective bargaining
- Performs all other duties as assigned by ACTS-Aviation Security
