ACERTUS is looking for Non-CDL Local Drivers to transport passenger vehicles locally in a safe and efficient manner. We are looking for team players who are committed to providing our clients with excellent customer service.
Your schedule is flexible, and you can work up to 29 hours a week. This is a Part Time position.
WE OFFER :
- $13 / hr for a Non-CDL driver's license - $14 / hr DOT - $15 / hr for a CDL driver's license.

WE REQUIRE :
- Although the position title says "Non-CDL," we must say that we are only looking for DOT / CDL drivers at this time . If you do not meet this requirement, we will hold off on your information and reach out to you again when we have new vacancies for regular drivers.
- Must be at least 23 years of age. Candidates over the age of 65 are subject to an additional review process for insurance purposes.
- Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
- Clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- One year of driving experience
- Must be able to operate a Smart Phone / Device
- Must be willing and able to drive in different weather and road conditions.
- Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel up to 150 miles from the office.
- Must be able to get in and out of various vehicles (cars, vans, Sprinter-type vans, 24 -26ft. box trucks, etc.) and be able to operate vehicles assigned.
- Previous experience driving larger vehicles (i.e., Vans, Sprinter-type Vans. 24 -26ft. box trucks.) preferred, but not required.
- Possess excellent professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of laws governing the operation of motor vehicles on public roads.
As a Non-CDL local driver you will :
- Be able to maneuver assigned vehicles in narrow and constricted spaces.
- Be able to follow detailed systems, procedures, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Communicate timely and effectively with clients and management
- Prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines
- Present electronic and hard copies of documents pertaining to the vehicle
- Submit required documents for processing
- Complete Pre and Post trip ECR (Electronic Condition Report) on all vehicles
- Complete vehicle intake and delivery processes

As a Logistics Coordinator , you will coordinate, plan, and execute dispatch operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of driver personnel within our nationwide fleet logistics service line.
Schedule : Monday-Friday (8am -5pm)
Pay : $20 - $25 / hr. Based on Experience
May be required to work evenings and weekends depending on business needs.
What will you be doing?
- Motivate a staff of professional drivers and other dispatch / operations personnel.
- Evaluate incoming pick-up and delivery requests and determine driver assignments.
- Analyze client orders and available driving personnel to plan and execute within client needs and expectations.
- Maintain and update information in internal systems to ensure proper communication with both internal and external customers.
- Communicate with personnel or customers to estimate time of delivery or pickups.
- Coordinate with driving personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analyze reports on a daily basis and identify areas of improved efficiency.
- Develop action plans with driving personnel to reduce service failure.
- Ensure compliance with all FMCSR, State and Local regulations regarding dispatch operations and safe driving operations.
- Ensures driver maintains and submits receipts for all services performed.
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Windows computer system and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Great Oral and written communication skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Strong logistic and geographic skill set.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience working with transportation software a plus.
- Personal responsibility to manage change.
