Now hiring a qualified LMSW / Licensed Masters Social Worker for a Correctional Facility in the Greater Portland Area!

Job Details :

• $2,525 / week
• $1,200 / week per diem
• $33 / hour
• $94.50 / hour overtime
• Weekly direct deposit
• Benefits available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
• Travel Stipend to + from assignment

LMSW / Licensed Masters Social Worker Timeline + Schedule :

• Now interviewing for June start dates.
• 13-week direct contract with the opportunity to extend.
• 40 hours per week.
• 5 x 8-hr shifts.
• Multiple shift times are available.

LMSW / Licensed Masters Social Worker Details :

• Correctional Facility.
• Male + Female inmates.
• Clinical duties focused on rehabilitation.
• Help inmates acclimate and cope with their surroundings and manage emotions.
• Perform psychological assessments to determine inmates' level of mental health functioning.
• Evaluate the presence of mental health or substance abuse disorders.
• Provide individual or group counseling sessions.
• Teach inmates life skills in rehabilitation groups.
• Prepare inmates to reintegrate into their lives outside of the correctional facility.

LMSW / Licensed Masters Social Worker Qualifications :

• 2+ years of Social Work experience, experience within the correctional space preferred but not required.
• Clean background check upon hire.
• Bilingual; Spanish / English is a plus.
