Talent Acquisition Coordinators are responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts for the 1-800-Flowers.com locations in Ohio.
This is a SEASONAL Talent Acquisition position to support high volume hiring during the most important gifting months of the year.
Ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service skills, high level of accuracy, and must maintain confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMajor responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.

Duties include but are not limited to :
- Assist with the full lifecycle recruiting process by screening and interviewing candidates (by phone and in person)
- Greet applicants and new hires in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Schedule interviews and orientations
- Data entry of job postings, new hire information, and tracking information
- Assist with facilitating orientations, new hire paperwork, and I9 verifications
- General administrative support in the Talent Acquisition department
- Assist with planning and participation in job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
- Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
- Work extended hours, including weekends during peak season
- May travel to other locations within the Central Ohio area
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-3+ years strong customer service experience.
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and / or legal hiring practices, interview techniques, and recruitment are preferred.
- A professional demeanor and excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with all levels of company personnel and outside contacts.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ADP a plus.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the maturity to quickly establish credibility and respect with a broad range of diverse business partners.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Accurate data entry / clerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Must maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to engage and work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Delivery Driver
Description
1-800-Flowers.com is seeking a Delivery Driver to contribute to the positive image of 1-800-flowers.com by delivering quality product as well as emotional messages to floral recipients in a professional and timely manner.
This position is located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Contribute to creating a positive store image.
- Follow and obey all traffic laws and regulations.
- Must be able to use the GPS but safely and not while the vehicle is moving.
- Understand and interpret Delivery Manifest.
- Accurately obtain signatures for deliveries and the completions of all confirmations.
- Understand store operation procedures.
- Understand and inform Manager of when maintenance requirements are needed.
- Comply with NO SMOKING inside the delivery vans policy.
- Follow through with all assigned tasks.
- Attend all store meetings when necessary.
- Be available for extra hours during all major holidays.
- Participate in all routing and deliveries for the major floral holidays.
- Perform store maintenance duties such as basic housekeeping, mopping, sweeping, cleaning, care and handling of floral product, product maintenance, etc. when not delivering.
Requirements
- All Candidates must have a clean driver’s record and a good understanding of the delivery area.
- They must be able to work extended hours during the holidays and able to lift up 50 lbs.
- They must have the flexibility of working in the facility which can include basic housekeeping as well as moving supplies and the processing of flowers if needed.
- Driver must check all orders that are in their delivery area to make sure all attachments are included with the order (Chocolates, Balloons or even Fruit bouquets).
- They must be aware of all-time sensitive orders which can include Funerals, Businesses and DTW orders.
- Drivers must dress appropriately to company standards and must wear closed toe shoes with rubber soles at all times.
- Drivers must be aware of the mileage on their assigned vehicle and to make sure to inform the manager when Maintenance is due.
- If there are any concerns or abnormal noises coming from the van the driver must inform his or her manager immediately.
- The Van must be kept clean at all times.
- Drivers must complete their confirmations within the time required by the company.
