IT/Security Project Director ( Construction)
Position Description :
Lead a Project Management Team, in accordance with LACCD program policies.
Organize, direct, train, and manage a Project Management team ranging in size from 4 to 8 people.
Manage and execute 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity up to $50+M.
Coordinate with various District and program stakeholders to successfully plan and execute projects
Successfully deliver a variety project types (i.e., construction, infrastructure, IT, landscape, etc.) on schedule and within budget.
Track, address and resolve all project issues in a timely manner.
Review, negotiate, and process all change order requests per LACCD's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Review and develop design and construction contract documents in collaboration with other stakeholders at the PMO.
Coordinate budget and schedule information with the Relocation Project Managers regarding FF&E, Asset Disposition / Surplus, and Relocation.
Successfully closeout projects to include DSA closeout and PMO / District closeout.
Identify project risks. Create and implement risk mitigation plans.
Create and present project and program information periodically to multiple stakeholder groups.
Report on a weekly basis on the status of the College program to LACCD and the PMO.
Track all project status and provides management reports relative to overall progress relative to construction project delivery schedules.
Track status and provides management reports relative to scheduling, cost control, staffing and other related construction contract requirements.
Review and inspect construction site offices to assess performance of construction teams and adherence to legal requirements.
Monitor, track, address and mitigate construction disputes in collaboration with the PMO.
Direct and assist in outreach efforts to provide information about college projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the PMO and LACCD.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
15 years experience in Management of multiple construction projects; experience within a large Capital Improvement program and familiarity with relevant Public Codes.
BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications :
7 years experience in Educational Facility Construction preferred.
Experience with Security or IT intensive projects (security center, surveillance system, fiber network modernization, data center.)
Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include master planning, design and closeout
Experience in alternative delivery method like design-build
Experience with using a web-based project management system such as Proliance
Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction / design processes or similar
A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors

Job Responsibilities :

GENERAL SUMMARY
Servers are Pechanga's ambassadors of guest service within each of the restaurants. They customize service for each guest to create a memorable dining experience.
They facilitate those dining experiences with menu / bar / wine knowledge, service etiquette, and sales ability. Servers contribution to the organization is the moment to moment service with guests which provides amiable and personable contact for every table, creating a face to represent four diamond service at Pechanga Resort and Casino.
Servers contributions to the department extend to bottom line. They cultivate professional relations with clientele approaching each table as a business transaction, selling product and services available in the restaurant.
Servers contributions to the guests are to understand their expectations and be the means to pair them with exact resort product / dish / wine / etc for those needs.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting tables upon arrival with a warm and personable approach
- Selling menu items by being specific, pairing items that compliment each other and the guest's tastes.
- Be and ambassador of the guest by asking guest specific questions and tailoring service to their expectations.
- Take guests' order accurately and in a timely manner consistent with restaurant's steps of service input and deliver food orders for each table.
- Take and deliver beverage order for each table.
- Preset tables for service with items that guests may need to enjoy their meal.

Job Summary

Restaurant Server

Everything viewed, touched and crafted will reflect an unsurpassed level of authenticity that speaks to our theme. Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain.
Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.
Europa Village is looking for a part-time Restaurant Server. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality.
Fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service is a must.

Responsibilities Specific to a Restaurant Server :
- Possess and live Europa Village core values.
- Greets guests with a smile and eye contact and introduces oneself.
- Delivers unsurpassed level of customer service to each guest.
- Has extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu and able to recommend, upsell and reinforce the guests' orders.
- Ability to thoroughly communicate the daily specials.
- Makes recommendations and answers all related questions.
- Ability to identify appropriate wines and beers to pair with meals.
- Follows all state liquor laws and Serving Alcohol with Sense (S.A.W.S) policies, including proper ID checking, responsible beverage service and ensuring no one under 21 is served alcohol.
- Accurately and efficiently run POS system
- Ability to accurately communicate each food order to kitchen staff and guidelines for special dietary issues are followed.
- Ability to keep tabs on both guests and the kitchen in order to communicate delays or if an order need to be expedited.
- Ensures the entire table is served at the same time. Asks for assistance in carrying out trays if necessary.
- Removes plates, dishes, silverware and condiments as guests finish. Keeps table free of empty and unneeded items.
- Other duties as assigned.
Expectations of the Restaurant Server
- Create and foster an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
- Be comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.
- Be able to communicate Europa Village's story.
- Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
- Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks, stockings and shoes.
- Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
- Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
- Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
- Keep eye out for attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
